There is alot of things the College management and the authorities needs to workout especially on the fees structure which is really a burden for a poor student, one more important thing is quality food that is needs to be served in mess
Course Curriculum Overview
The course from research point of view is just fine, not great but the infrastructure is gonna update in the times to come. The course structure covers all the basics, what a under graduate need to know
Placement Experience
Placement are really good for under graduate students and it's not good for post graduate students. If students are interested in internships they can go for it through training and placements department
College Events
Every year there will be one technical event and one cultural event, in our College technical event name is THATVA and cultural event name is RAGAM. Ragam is really enjoyable than THATVA which is all little bit technical orientated
Fee Structure And Facilities
Rs 1. 2 lakh per year is the minimum fees, which is really expensive for a middle class and poor student, the institute must look at fees and its structure because its really a horrible thing for someone who is poor to pay those fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Thankfully there is an excellent SBI bank which has been providing loans for College going students. Unfortunately the institute doesn't offer any scholarships to the students but there is the bank which can help them
Campus Life
Lalaboratorys are really good, there is not a great workshops and diversity of students is just fine. There is no tolerance towards gender, race, religion, socio economic status which is really a good thing
Hostel Facilities
Hostels were good and the good thing is that its keeping updated, hostel fees were really high and the quality of food is a bit of centralized to local people and it will be a little difficult for someone who is not malayali
Alumni/Alumna
In four years I find many alumni people who gather there and starts clicking the photos, once someone who is of 1996 batch had knocked my rrom door and he told me that it is his room when he was in his final year, haha that was a strange experience
Admission
Through JEE mains exams, as I had a bit of interest in engineering it made me to choose civil engineering over other courses. The admissions process was a little hectic as one have to submit alot of documents with photo copies.
Faculty
The senior faculty were really good but there is a lot that is need to cover from recruiting quality faculty. Especially on some core subjects otherwise students are going to miss really good quality subjects and learning
