Good atmosphere. Public transportation and college transportation available are so readily accessible from Trivandrum city. Nearest railway station. Amaravila and neyyatinkara. Nearest central railway station. Trivandrum central.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course in the College consists of 4 streams of engineering. They are civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science engineering, and electronics engineering. All these four streams of Engineering are the core branches and have a lot of opportunities.

Placement Experience

The internship is provided for students on a merit basis. It is an ln optional thing. Now new merit system and scholarship are introduced in the College. More information can be obtained from the College official website of PRSCET.

College Events

Technical fests are conducted in College on various engineering streams. College day, sports events and Arts festivals are also conducted in the College annually and prizes are distributed to the winners.

The engineering course fee of the College varies from 5000 to 100000 according to the streams and reservation fee schemes. Scholarships are available According to the government scheme provided and accordingly to the merit of the students. Normal banks can provide loans on the basis of fees and paper provided by the College.

Labs are available for mechanical engineering, civil engineering, computer science engineering, and electronics engineering. Aldi workshops are available. FM lab. Sm lab. Environmental engineering lab. Surveying lab. Are available.

Hostels are available within a walkable distance from College Separate hostels are available for both men and women. Both food and accommodation are available. As the College is far away from the city it gives a natural feel to the students which refresh the mind.

Nice experience with College alumni and senior students. Nice Campus which includes the involvement of all activities and helping mentality students and staff. Also good College neighborhood those respects engineers.

Admission

The student must be qualified in plus two in computer science or biology and attend for the Kerala engineering entrance exam and then apply through the merit system of a single-window of Kerala government merit seats in private engineering Colleges and students can apply for that after qualifying Kerala engineering entrance exam.

Faculty

Well experienced and qualified professionals handle the subjects very well and help the students. Also, infrastructure provided by the College is really awesome to meet the needs of college students.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
