Course Curriculum Overview

I am very much interested in programming so I choose this course. The college provides 1:1 faculty: student ratio. All the facilities are post-graduated and the method of study is very friendly. Every month there should be a monthly exam and a quarterly term exam. A regular student had passed with an above 80% mark.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come to the college and provide internships with stipends. One of the companies is QUEST GLOBAL. They provide a 6-month internship with 3000 stipends. The completion of the internship is based on certain projects and tasks.

Placement Experience

For 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like UST Global, Quest Global, Infosys, TCS, etc. visited for giving placements. The highest package the company offered is 5 lakhs per annum. The average package is 3.5 lakhs per annum. About 60% of students got placed in highly qualified companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well, I am in an OBC category my fee would be only 25000 per year. I got placed in the 8th semester of study and now I am a developer with a 45000 salary in UST GLOBAL TECHNOPARK THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. I got an SBI student ratio loan for my studies.

Campus Life

There would be an annual fest and tech fest. They conducted mostly in February - March. A good library facility is provided and the books are available based on syllabus. The classroom is a smart classroom and all the amenities are provided. Arts club, sports club, and communication classes all are provided. Extracurricular activities like dance, etc. are also provided. The volunteer of the clubs should be students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is also provided near the college. The room should be very friendly for studies. Contain study table, chair, single coat, attached bathroom, fan, lamp, etc. The food is also included in the fee structure. The quality of the food is also awesome. The registration process for a hostel is also provided at the time of admission. The facility is provided just near the college.

Admission

I got 83% in plus two cbse and I have a 14000 rank in KEAM entrance. After that, I applied for the course online. The details of reservation benefits are also available on the college's website. The college provides a good atmosphere for the freshers and they provide many internships and placements. I got a placement in my 8th semester at UST Global. Now I am a developer at UST GLOBAL TECHNOPARK THIRUVANANTHAPURAM.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
