Life in Thapar

All the positive remarks have been stated above with some negative remarks being the number of students being admitted early. Thapar admits large amount of students early which could make a difficulty at the time of placements.

The course curriculum in Thapar can be regarded is one of the best and test curriculum. Thapar decides its course curriculum in collaboration with the Trinity College Dublin. There are several exams conducted in a semester with 2 major exams and many other minor tests and quizzes.

Various companies like Microsoft Amazon visit the campus for recruiting students and companies like Infosys visit the campus for mass recruitments. The placement it and the internships offer that Thapar are fairly good. Internships are offered to the third year students average package offered for the computer science branch is 6. 5 lacs per annum where the highest package goes up to 35 lacs per annum and the lowest goes upto 4 lacs.

Videos technical cultural and other events are celebrated in the College. On an average there are more than one events each month thus making the College life enjoyable. Thapar promotes participation in these events and raises proper funds for these events.

The fee structure of Thapar can be regarded as an expensive one thanks to it being a private College. The per semester fees could be calculated as a lump sum of 2. 5 lacs per semester including the hostel and mess fees thus amounting to a total of about 20 lacs for the full course. Which is quite costly.

Thapar offers various scholarships and loan facilities to deserving students. Scholarships awarded on the basis of early performance and on the basis of marks obtained in 12th and the entrance exam. Various other scholarships aur also awarded on the basis of the annual income of the parents.

Thapar promotes participation in extra curricular activities. A large space has been provided four sports like football cricket table tennis badminton etc. The Labs in Thapar are kept with the latest technology and also have proper safety features and are quite specious to hold a good amount of students.

The hostels in the Thapar can be regarded as the best hostels one can found in any corner of India. The hostels are are equipped with all the facilities one needs in daily life. All the hostels have their respective gyms high speed Wi-Fi and are fitted with lavishing furnitures. The hostels are value for money trade.

Thapar has a large alumni network with the senior students placed in good companies. This helps the junior students with the proper guidance and provides a better hand over other students in terms of placements and other fields.

I went through JEE mains exam and got selected in this College. I choosed this College over others because of computer science branch which i was getting in this College. The College is good for a life style and promotes sports. The College is equiped with latest technology needed for proper study. This made me choose this College

The faculty in thapar is highly educated and disciplined. They are highly paid. Most of them have done PhD in their respective feilds. They are always ready to help you and guide you not only in the field of education but also tend to make you better personality.
