Remarks
This is an overall average Institute. Infrastructure is very much good as well as the faculties. Technical cum cultural programs are enjoyable. Negative remarks will be the fee, the fee is quite high and also there should be wifi facility available in the whole college campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course Structure is comparatively good, but you can't expect too much as because this is not IIT. This is an average college for B Tech. Different Labs are available for all the beanches. Also three workshops are available.
Placement Experience
Yes Our college provide internship to each and every student as it is compulsory for every student to do atleast one internship or training. There some companies who recruited students before and one or two still recruiting students. Companies are like ONGC,OIL, CAIRN India and many more.
College Events
Mainly two big festivals AUXESIS and VARSITY WEEK. Auxesis is part of our btech department. It is high budget technical event which includes not only technical event but also includes cultural and sports events. Varsity week is cultural cum sports event and it is organised by the University.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As a Government college the fee structure is a little high. In my time the course fee was Rs.40000/ per semester as tuition fees and Rs 10000/ per year as admission fees. So For the odd semester it is 50000/ And for the even semester it is 40000/
Fees and Financial Aid
The education loan is available which will help to pay the fee and there are some scholarship program available too but i have never applied to any of these, so i don't have much knowledge about it. For loans and scholarships search in google or ask any officials of college.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities of our Institute is very much good. There are so many events for social, cultural and sports. Technical workshops held time to time. Many sports events are also organised. Also you can take part of in the Varsity week and Auxesis.
Alumni/Alumna
My seniors were very helpful. They were quite strict at the beginning but at the end of the day they become like my brother. They were very knowledgeable persons. I can interact with them so freely. They helped me in my studies during exam times.
Admission
Only college in Northeast India having Petroleum Engineering course made me choose this college. Also i had a dream to become an Engineer, so i choose this course. I have got selected here from my CEE marks.
Faculty
Faculties of our college are highly educated and experienced. Also some of the faculties have industrial field experience. Most of the faculties give very much attention to all the students. Very helpful and generous.
