The number of core companies coming for placement is really less. Thus many students need to switch to marketing or software. The package offered is not very high but average. The location is a bit remote so sometimes reaching the college is a tedious task.

We were provided with a deep insight into the subject. All our doubts were cleared as early as possible. Exams were conducted in semester basis that is twice a year. Course was always completed beforehand.

Internships are provided by the college but generally they are unpaid internships. Not many core companies come to msit for campus placements. Some students opt for software or marketing jobs. The average package is about 2lpa

The various events celebrated are- inter college tech fest,intra college tech fest,cultural fest,different quizzes, debates,extempore. Also teachers day is celebrated in a grand manner. We have also celebrated independence day and republic day.

Fee is to be paid twice a year. Per semester the charge was around 40000. so the course fee adds up to 3. 5lacs. The fee includes only tuition fees, laboratory charges,internship charges. Caution money is to be paid separately.

Bank loans are easily available. Scholarship is provided to students who score top marks from their respective departments. College even helps students to get their loans sanctioned if needed. Scholarships are also provided to students who need extra coaching for higher studies.

Laboratories are very well maintained and highly equipped. Sports is an integral part of the college curriculum. Cricket and Football is organized yearly and everyone is encouraged to participate. Apart from that indoor game events are also organized.

Alumni network of msit is very strong. They are spread across the globe. Yearly reunions and alumni meets are organized in order to enhance the communication between the current students and alumni. The alumni members are of great help.

MSIT takes in student via the ranks secured in WBJEE. I was a student of civil engineering department which is the most reputed department in our college. We had well equipped laboratory and efficient faculty members who were always ready to help us learn and grow.

We had highly qualified faculty members who were keen on explaining us the subjects in detail. They were easily approachable. The civil engineering department comprises of some of the best faculty members.
