reasons why we engineers don't choose,we are the chosen

it is a good college with a zero infrastructure. there are good faculties with zero lab facility. so wisely choose your college and stream, otherwise meghnad saha is a good college to get admission. however it is, but after 4 years you can't leave the college with out loving it back.

the course, i have choose. is very useful for entire life time. there is huge scope in government jobs too with this course. frankly speaking we could manage many bunks during our college days. we roamed in the college campus. not because there is no way to get out of the college, because we could chill in the college campus.

college doesn't provide internship. in west Bengal renouned core companies doesn't come for more than a decade. so, there is no other choice for the students from any stream than to go to the it sectors.

1. technical fest - paridhi(inter college) 2. cultural fest 3. tech extra ( intra college technical fest) 4. there are so many clubs like rotary club for social service, darpan for drama, sargam for musics,nosis for quiz, these clubs organize various programs throughout the year. our technical fest"paridhi" is considered as the biggest technical fest in West Bengal.

we have to deposit 20000 as safety money. we have to pay near about 40k after every 6 months for next 4 years. we can pay it via draft. many of the students takes loan to give the fees. we pay semester fees before the semester begis.

loan is available for giving tution fees. many of my friends who can not pay much, there is a special scholarship for them. they only pay 1200 as tution fees whereas normal students pays near about 40000 in each semester.

there are two league games occured in our college named MSL and MCL. msl stands for meghnad saha soccer league and mcl stands for meghnad saha cricket league. both the leagues are organized very successfully by the students. alumni students also participate in these leagues. and intra college and inter college project exhibition is organized by the college authority.

most of the the seniors are so good and so motivating about taking naps,taking shotcuts, advising about how much chilling course I have choose, maintain only 6. 7 cgpa. but many seniors also demotivate us from these things.

there is an entrance exam held by West Bengal government, which is named as wbjee for the engineering colleges in west Bengal only. I had scored a rank to secure a seat for electrical engineering in this college. i was not sure about taking the stream. i was advised by many to take the streams which was mainly it based. but i was sure that it streams are not my cup of tea. so i just decided this stream.

many qualified faculties are there in the college. lab assistances are very supportive and friendly. most of the teachers are very supportive and their deep knowledge about the subject, made the course more interesting.
