Beautiful place to live

It's really a beautiful college, it's on the top of the mountain view from my room is awesome,you can see Himalayan mountain very easily. No noise pollution or air pollution,perfect environment for self study.

It is just ok. Yeah there were some events like practical test when it can get hectic. also about our course it is just as other govt. college have,it's different from previous year, more focusing on the improving skills of students

Placement depends on how much hard working and smart student is. It totally depend on student. So college do provide on campus placements but not all of the students get placed. CSE and ECE get maximum placements.

2 main events are goonj and Josh. Goonj is a cultural event and Josh is a sports event. Goonj takes place in Summers and Josh takes place in winters. Both are celebrated upto 3 days. There are too many activities in goonj like drama,dance,etc in which you can take part.

As it is a government college so the fee is quite low,about 55000(total including hostle fee, mess fee and tuition fee) for 1 semester. 12000- hostle fee, about 40000 tuition fee. Including other charges.

If you are a good student (for general category) then you can get scholarship if you top the semester from your branch, for other category I think top 5 are chosen for the scholarship. In 1st semester general category will not have any scholarship facility.

Gender ratio is about 1:3 (girls:boys), there is a common room with LCD TV where you can watch anything if others agree with you. It's on the top of middle wing and there is indoor badminton court, hall where you can play chess,carram, table tennis etc.

Hostle rooms are very clean and warm. (warm rooms are good here as it's on the top of the mountain,so it's really cold out here) and hostle is compulsory for every student,you are not allowed to stay in pg.

Senior can be a head ache in this college. Some of them are good but most of them are not that good, I mean they can be good for those who love to do extra assignment and lots of other odd jobs. interaction with them is some time very helpful other time a disaster.

Through JEE,clear JEE Main if you are in general category or rank less than 4 lakh for branch like civil. For Biotechnology there is another exam that you have to qualify in order to get into this college.

They are really good and have quite impressive knowledge of what they are teaching. Some time things can go above your mind but it's not faculty's fault,it's just due to lack of knowledge that you are having (things that you should have studied in class 11th and 12th)
