Remarks
Being one of the top institute there's not really negative remark, as for positive comment - I'd say this could be your best time of life leaving with people of all kind of cultural experience. The college time period is what defines your career ahead to a very extent.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was a 5 year course with chemical engineering and business management, regular labs and viva were taken throughout the first 4 years and final year was focused on business skills development of students.
Placement Experience
College had a designated training and placement cell which is run by student body, they invite companies from all over India based on their network and alumni circle. Almost 100% placement happens every year.
College Events
College had two types of events yearly, technical and non technical, again run by students bodies under the guidance of professors. We use to invite college from all over to participate and compete with the local talent.
Fee Structure And Facilities
About 50000 for each semester which has been doubled in recent years, as a government initiatives the subsidy provided has been reduced to minimal. The government do provide scholarship thoughtout the engineering for top talents.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semesterly scholarships were available to top 25% students of the batch whose parental income was less than 450000 annually, also sc/ST students were waived from any kind of tution fees. A basic ITR of parents is suffice to avail the said help.
Campus Life
There were clubs for all hobbies, be it sports, arts, drama, photograph, adventure club. Every club was again managed my the club secretary which in turn had a general secretary who was a medium between the management and club leaders.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels were provided on yearly basis, generally everyone opted for hostels as the students were from all over India, different types of room were available sharing, non sharing, based on your year in college you'll alloted the room which were quite nice in most hostels with Lan facility of top class.
Alumni/Alumna
The college try to keep alumni connected with the college even after they have graduated and too deep in the corporate system. They host alumni meet on yearly basis to introduce and provide corporate lifestyle to young juniors.
Admission
National level entrance exam given by 1000000 students, top 10000 gets seat based on their marks in 2 exams. Recently Class 12th exams are also taken into consideration while making top students list.
Faculty
Faculty was were old, although they had good understanding of the subject concerned but with new technologies, it could get hard sometimes for them and thus new topics was hardly introduced by the professors.
