Remarks

Since its a new college it is not well recognized by common people and has a common misconception that its a new college so there is no facilities which is just a prejudice. And hospital doesn't have many patients as like in govt setup.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is the best, you have the feeling of service to the society. Though it's a vast and tiring curriculum the motivation is your interest. I would suggest new students to take up MBBS and serve the people as it is also interesting.

Placement Experience

4.5

It's a medical college so there is no place for placements. Yes, our college provides internship which is for a period of 1 year after you complete your MBBS course. It is a stipened one you get paid 5000 as well as earn experience, later if you want you can join the hospital and do residency for which you'll be paid around 50k

College Events

4

Our college celebrates various events such as the anniversary of our institution, all festivals, BGS utsav and BGS vaibhav. Among these BGS vaibhav is of grandeur. You can see students from all batches no difference as senior and junior and participate in sports and culturals. The college staffs and hospitals staffs are in charge of the events and it's up to students dean to enact his management skills, it is funded by college itself and awards are distributed on the final day by actor, politicians and honourable Nirmalanandanathemahaswamiji.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It all depends upon the way you get admitted to the college, if you get a govt seat in our college the fee would be 77000 and if it's a private seat then it would cost you around 7 lacs and if you join through management seat then it is around 1 crore so its feasibility depends on the mode through you enter. if you study hard in your PU and score well in NEET you can enter with minimum fees if not it's expensive and the hostel fee is around 1 lac.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is no scholarship offered by the college. But the government of Karnataka offers scholarships which you can avail if from poor background and based on your marks and income. There is no loan offered but college gives you time to pay fees and not force you.

Campus Life

5

Female are high in number than males, laboratories are of fine qualities with modern equipments and there is a central research laboratory where you can carry on research works. student dean is elected from the senior most batch. students from various states and regions study here and are extremely tolerant. Girls and boys go very well together with harmony and friendship. regional people teach and learn languages from other regions and there is no politics and you can see a secular atmosphere and no discrimination against race and gender orientation or economic status. For sports there is a vast cricket and football ground behind the hostel, there is well maintained basketball court and volleyball/throwball court and an indoor badminton court, there is also table tennis and carrom and chess room. there is also a best library and cafeterias.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes I opted for hostel, the facilities are good, the rooms are spacious and shared by 2, free wifi is provided and hot water from 6 to 10 in the mornings in case of girls hostel it's 24×7 there is a laundry for which you have to pay 60rs per wash and 60rs for drying, food is average, non veg is served on Tuesday and Fridays and room service is done weekly once. Hostel fee is around 1lac

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are our guide to pass through the course without them it's impossible to sail through the course, there is no ragging but yes mild introduction is done as it is a part of a college life and later they become your very best friend since it's a new college there is no alumni but one of the passed out got 7th rank in AIIMS all India.

Admission

Through NEET entrance exam, I always wanted to be doctor hence I chose this course, if not I would have joined NIT to continue my engineering curriculum in aerospace but luckily I got my admission into this college.

Faculty

5

They are friendly and the best, you can ask your doubts whenever you want, they are the motivation through your entire course. It's like give respect and you'll be showered with glory. The faculties are the best they don't want us to byheart instead learn the subject and apply clinically.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
