Remarks
College of Technology is one among the 8 colleges of GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. Situated among the rural campus town of Pantnagar, the college offers little in terms of recreational centers but in turn is abundant with many fests, fairs, cultural nights and competitions round the year, organised and managed solely by the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum covers almost everything about Information Technology. Exams structure should be improved. The exams should cover most of the part related to theory as well as programming. Otherwise everything is fine.
Placement Experience
The college do not provide internship programs student have too look to other companies and institutes for internship. The placement and job opportunitiea is nice but the salary package is not up to the mark.
College Events
College Of Technology Pantnagar celebrates 4 majur functions Colosseum, Litrosphere, Accolades and Razzmatazz held in the winter semester of each year. One of the biggest is Colosseum help for 3 days.
Fee Structure And Facilities
College should improve its fee structure. The hostel charge should be decreased and should provide more sholorships to the students. Colleger should also provide some special schollerships for the poor students.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know much about these facilities but college provides tuition fee waiver to economically weaker students. Tuition fee waiver seats are reserved for each branch every year. Some scholarships are also provided on the basis of caste.
Campus Life
The college labs are well maintained. Every branch has own labs and for each subjects. Each lab has a lab assistant. College campus have a stadium where almost every game is played, in door and out door both.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are not up to the mark. I would rate it 2 out of 5. The food quality is not up to the mark. Need to improve the hostel infastructure and should also improve the hostel quality. The rooms should be well maintained.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni meet is held every year. But i dont know any contribution from any alumni to the college. Senior students just make fool of first year students and tries to pass on this legacy to their juniors.
Admission
Entered through clearing state level UKSEE (Uttarakhand State Enterence Examination) exam. After Exams Merit list is prepared and seated are alloted to students according to the ranks they got. At last the documentation process took place.
Faculty
Faculty of our college is quite good. There are about 200 professors and every branch has atleast 10 to 15 professional and assistant professors. The other working stuff is quite good and supporting too.
