Remarks

I choose this university over other because it is the number one university of India and my passion is to do MBBS so I Choose this university. My college focusses on many research projeects and guides many students for their research. Kasturba medical college is known for it's cultural events

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My college focusses on many research projeects and guides many students for their research. They have collaboration with many research papers and sites. Our exams are conducted on epad that is a digital platform. Labs are well installed with all instruments

Placement Experience

3.5

There is no such placement in college as it is a medical college so there are no such companies which which will come to offer you job, here we saves the patients life. If we talk about stipend given in the college after 4 and half years, that is maximum of all universities

College Events

4

Kasturba medical college is known for it's cultural events apart from participating in various intercollegiate events, we have our own interclass where all batches participate to compete each other. And than we have utsav where all university colleges compete each other.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, fee structure is quite expensive but as Compared to other private universities, it is OK. My fee structure for 2016 batch is 919000 and it increases by one lakh every year. Even my institute has got the title of Institute of Eminence.

Fees and Financial Aid

College don't provide any such scholarship but gives a special quota to students of karnataka. We can study here by the scholarship provided by government of India. Even college dont provide any kind of loan facility to any student studying here.

Campus Life

3.5

As I discussed earlier college provides a good platform for all extracurricular activities. Labs are well installed and equipped. There is no discrimination With Regards To Gender, Ethnicity, Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Politics And Economic Status.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility is not so great. Their charges are high and rooms are not so much spacious. Mess food is OK but no variety, even they will charge you for that day also when you don't eat in mess. Electric and Water supply is great

Alumni/Alumna

All senior students are good, they are very helping. Yes, we do have a tradition where we call seniors sir And ma'am but that's a part of medical life, we are showing our respect to them. As soch I have no Interaction With our Alumni but they helped In every way they can.

Admission

I got admission through national entrance examination test. I choose this university over other because it is the number one university of India and my passion is to do MBBS so I Choose this university. There is no such interview to get admission.

Faculty

3.5

College faculty is good. They are scholars in their fields and have a awesome knowledge in their subjects. Many of them teaches every cocept in detail and in a trained manner. We can ask even our silly doubts, if any.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
