The college life is very amazing. The location of the University is also amazing as it is situated at the foothills of Mussoorie. Active association with professional bodies like ASSOCHAM, CII, FICCI and leading foreign universities has proven a real asset in ensuring meaningful orientation. DIT UNIVERSITY has a very vibrant curriculum. The course B.Tech CSE is developed in collaboration with leading industry professionals and academic stalwarts to ensure relevant content to best prepare the students. The course is totally based on practical knowledge and the ability to learn and overcome challenges. The course is provided by the University in collaboration with IBM and offers the latest labs and equipments. There is also focus on conducting researches.

The placements and job opportunities in the University are getting better year by year. The highest package is 25LPA and 4.5LPA average package. Over 300 recruiters visit the college each year. Students have been placed in international composites like Google, Amazon, SAP, Adobe, IBM,etc.

There are various fests and events taking place in the University. The biggest is 'YOUTHOPIA'. Youthopia is the annual techno-cultural fest held in DIT UNIVERSITY. It has various fun events organized by the students themselves. In the end there is a celebrity DJ night in which they invite a guest singer and DJ. There is also sports event called 'SPHURTI'which includes various sports like cricket, football.

The fees of engineering courses in feasible as compared to other engineering colleges in India. Although the collaborative courses fees is slightly expensive the core courses are quite feasible. The college charges fees per semester through online fees payment portal. There are two categories while taking admission (Uttarakhand and ALL-India). The students who have Uttarakhand domicile can enjoy a 25% discount on the fees. The course fee of B.Tech CSE-9,58,000.

1.The University offers merit based scholarships on basis of JEE Mains score. 2.There is also 25% discount on fees for students having Uttarakhand domicile. 3. The University also offers scholarships for wards of defense personnels.

There are many extracurricular activities available in the University like sports, workshops, etc. There is a club called API which stands for Activities, Programming and Internships. The club provides a platform for technical as well as Non-Technical Activities, for overall development of a student. The motto is to bring out Leadership skills in the individual so that he can face any situation in the future. They believe in preparing, grooming and growing with the 'Leaders for Tomorrow', in every domain. There is student diversity as the University reserves 10% seats for foreign students. People from all over the country, from all states come to study here so there is student diversity.

No, I am a day scholar. I live in Dehradun so I have not opted for hostel. But I have learnt from my batchmates that reside in the hostel that the infrastructure of the hostels in very good. The hostel rooms are very clean and tidy and are very well maintained. The hostels are equipped with latest facilites like free WI-FI. The annual hostel fees is-1,15,000.

The alumni and senior students are very interactive and helpful. The University has a separate portal called ALMACONNECT which helps students to interact with the Alumnus of the University. The alumni also conducts programs and sessions to help the current student to get heads up about their placements and future.

I had made up my mind to pursue engineering. So first of all I went to the website of DIT UNIVERSITY and filled the online application form. In the online application form they ask you about your basic details, 10th,12th marks and percentage, JEE Main score and the branch you wish to select. Then I went to the University for three counseling process. In the counseling process the college gives a briefing of the various courses and branches offered by college and counsels about the branch and course that would be perfect for you. Then I selected B.Tech CSE course. Then I had to pay the fees and that's it, admission done. There is no such interviewing process involved in the engineering courses but I don't know about other courses.

The faculty of the University is amazing and very experienced.They have Masters and Doctoral degrees from leading national and international Universities of repute, coupled with significant research work. Many of them have worked on the ground, putting their knowledge to practical application. They have published papers in international peer-reviewed journals, written books and contributed to magazines and newspapers. They are lifelong learners and collaborative workers, with a passion for working with students and peers to push boundaries of knowledge in their fields.
