Remarks
College is now in developing condition. So keeping hope that all problem will be solved is a good choice. Still we are promised to have a wifi campus in 2 year but still it is not there. Electrcity problem are there.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is according to BPUT, Rourkela. The syllabus was changed from our batch. Now there is also some modifications in syllabus. You can get all the needed subject in computer science in this curriculum. But practice experience you will not get by going through this syllabus.
Placement Experience
Startups and only 3 mncs(TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO) are recruited from our college. In this section college is facing second level struggle "far from Capital city". But one thing sure that you will get placed in any company but for Big company there is no scope.
College Events
Numbers of events are celebrated in our college like tech fest, cult fest etc. Many competitions held there. In every fest students took responsibility and made it successful. college invites many respected person to it's international conference on technology even from Japan. So yeah it's big level festivals happened here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. You have to spend 35k only for academics and hstl around 30k. That's it. For odd semester it's 31000 and even semester it is 1500 and for special occasions you can face some extra demand but it is very often.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was selected for MEDHABRUTI scholarship. In this scholarship you will get 40k in Btech. Each year 10k. There is a bank inside of the campus. In this you can take loan by creating account. But I have no idea about that particularly.
Campus Life
Annual sports and tournaments are happening in college campus. Huge field is there to took place the activities. Participating candidate ratio is 60:40. Faculties are responsible for this function so no politics are there.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no alumni of old students are there. We, some people have the idea of building it. Also had a meeting with the college authorities to make it successful. In our time seniors are quite helpful, now there is some situation where senior are not interacting with juniors that's creating problem.
Admission
I was selected through JEE-MAIN. I faced the counselling process. According to merit list I was selected for this government college. For ODISHA people counseling is done by OJEE. There is no interview process. once you got this college you can go there and take admission in specific date by checking notice from this college. You have to check regularly the official website.
Faculty
Faculties of CSE in college are very cooperative. They will push you to go hard. They will try to level up you. But you should have the interest and seek your help to them. Machine learning, Data mining, Network analysis etc, ongoing demanding extra subject are teached by them. Highly appreciated.
