My review

The college has a Better infrastructure and proper academic system.But the Student affair council in here is not that much efficient in solving the problems of students. The events provided by various clubs in this college is very good in making us free from our comfort zone

National Institute of Technology is a deemed university it has its own curriculum and exam structure.moreover the academic life in in NIT is very chill. In four year of BTech course there are eight semesters which is accordingly divided to 2 per year. It is very sad to say that the course structure is not much good in with a focus on research. The exams and labs are very frequent leaving and they all are very accurate and chilled.

We got a better better placement and job opportunities in this years. I also have a placement and guidance cell which is helpful for the placement opportunities.since we are first year students we don't have that much of knowledge about the internship provided by our college but I think there is there are some internships offered by some companies which is quite helpful for the placement.

The National Institute of Technology Calicut host one of the most popular and massive technical and cultural fest in India The technical fest is called as Tathva.Students from almost all parts of South India came here for attending the workshops, events and lecture.The college provide participation certificates to them. The cultural fest is named as Ragam held in January for three days which is one of the most biggest fest in South It is mainly started in the name of a student who studied in this college and killed by the police during the national emergency in India. These two fests are popular in whole India.

Fee structure is designed according to the family income of the students If it is below 1 lakh INR there is no tution fees.The tution fees is 70000 if the annual income is above 1 lakh and it's 125000 if it's above 5 lakh.

Since ours is a central government funded institute.we got some good scholarship which are provided by ministry of health resource and devolpment of India.One is means cum merit scholarship that provides an Amount of 25k to 35k INR per year which is very helpful for the poor students.

This college provides a better opportunities for each and every talented students both in extracurricular activities and in academics. Almost in every month there will be at least two to three programs which help students to showcase their talents.Even though we came from different parts of India and cultural spaces,we all are very friendly with each other without considering the language problems. There is no any discrimination or margins based on race or religion or sexual orientation or political and economic views and status.

Hostel infrastructure is quiet good for us.it have a well prepared mess and good electrical and water supply which is sufficient for the whole students present in the Hostel.The Hostel fees and mess fees are added up to an amount of approximately 5000 INR per month.

The seniors are very helpful for us. When We come across for our doubts and needs, they are very willing and kind hearted.They involved us in the infrastructure arrangement of the fests and events held here.

The admission process to National institutes of technology in India is through the joint entrance examination organized by National testing agency. Over 12 lakh students participate in this exam. After the entrance exam result came,we submit our desired options. After that JOSSA will allot seat according to our rank in the exam. After the allotment they called us for the verification of certificates and after that they allow seats according to our preference I choose this course because I love engineering as my career. Also civil engineering is my favourite branch. I am interested in making plans of buildings and making them real.

We are blessed with a superb faculty which is very helpful for us specially first years. Here we can see a team of qualified and interested faculty which is good in teaching and responsibilities. Even though some of them are are a little bit difficult for us but we manage accordingly.
