Course Curriculum Overview
Once you get the admission, then for the very first year of your engineering you have to study around 6 subjects per semester. The subjects in the first 2 semesters will be common irrespective of your branch. Once you are in your 3rd semester you will be studying your core subjects thereafter. One semester is particularly dedicated for an internship to get real-world industrial experience which plays a major role in your career.
Placement Experience
Microsoft gave 8 on-campus offers. Google 5, Amazon 5, Vodafone 18, TIAA 7. Hitachi 2, also many other companies came for the placements of the final year students.
College Events
Techfest is our annual technical fest held in odd semesters. In this fest, all the branches organise events related to their field and everyone can participate in it. Reverb, the cultural fest is also held in odd semesters, events ranging from Man vs Food to gala nights, stand up comedian, concerts are held. Protathilitis, sports fest is held in even semesters and all kind of sports ranging from carrom to cricket to squash are held.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are paid in two instalments, one instalment in Nov and the other one in June. Fees can be paid online through RTGS or NEFT. No additional fee is to be paid apart from the academics if you don't want to avail accommodation or transport facilities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the college did offer scholarships to the eligible students. Scholarships were given on the basis of sports, academics, institute representation etc.
Campus Life
You cannot get a better campus life than this. The campus is not less than any hill station of modern India. It has natural beauty with artificial waterfalls and lakes. Though it is far from the Pune old city but can be easily accessible through OLA, UBER. On-campus ATM, grocery and shops for basic amenities are present.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility here is amazing, we have better hostels than even IITs. The mess food is included with the hostel fee and also it's at par. Triple share occupancy is only the option available at present. A room has three study tables chairs beds cupboards with an attached washroom.
Alumni/Alumna
Students get to engage with their seniors from their very first day on campus. They can interact with them, play with them and obviously get the knowledge regarding academics. Seniors are very friendly.
Admission
I gave SET(now SITEEE) in 2016, and scored around 131 marks out of 200 to get my the branch of my choice. The best part is, of course, the brand name Symbiosis, also the campus is mesmerizing. Apart from the academics students get a number of opportunities to gain expertise in sports and extracurriculars as well.
Faculty
Number of lectures (number of hours) depends on the number of credits allotted for a particular course. 3 credit course will have 35-40 lectures in the semester with 3-4 lectures per week. Faculty is amazing, most of them are PhDs. The experience and expertise they have in their field can't be described in words. All faculty explain concepts by giving real-world examples which can be easily understood by anyone.
