A great learning experience

The management is smooth flowing. It makes our work easier by being extremely helpful and systematic.

The curriculum focuses on the basic concepts. And, we also have labs pertaining to our core subjects so that we can get hands-on the leading technologies. We get ample research activities too in the form of experiential learning wherein we are expected to dig up yourselves a few topics and later present them to the whole class. This helps in polishing not just our brains but also our soft skills which later help us in cracking the placement interviews.

The placements this year were great. We had companies like Google, Microsoft, Tia, Merkle Sokrati, Schindler among the many. They pertained to all the fields including our core subjects and also related to marketing for those who wished to discover through more options. We had pre-placement talks, mock GD/PI to help prepare us. We also have internship opportunities.

We've two big events planned every annual year namely the Tech fest and Reverb (the Cultural fest). The Tech fest is organised branch wise in the odd semester. The students take active participation and we have a lot of fun events planned in it. A lot of students from other colleges also participate in the same. While Reverb happens in the even semester and gives us an opportunity to explore the creative side of us.

The fees are decent for the opportunities and services we get. To start with we're all accessible to a huge library wherein we can issues a lot of books simultaneously. We're not charged extra money for any seminar or industrial visits we attend. We've access to labs containing state of the art equipment and software. We also have Google classrooms which makes a lot of content available at the click of a button.

Yes, the college provides scholarships to the students. When we had the entrance exams, the top three received a scholarship in the form of a reduction in tuition fees. Other than that, the topper of each branch also gets benefits.

The campus life is great. Being situated in the mountains, it's gives a great view all times of the year and also gives a lot of peace. The students come from very different cultures. We also have international students among us which makes us extremely rich in culture. It's great honestly to know so many different people and the best part is that all of us come together to celebrate the different festivities together as a family.

Thee hostels are extremely hygienic. There is a triple sharing policy. We've attached washrooms available and on-campus helpers who help maintain the hygiene. The hostel fees also include mess services which give us great food 4 times a day - breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.

Yes, some of the most successful alumni come visit us on the campus and motivate us. Not just that they give us a helping hand with our projects and internships too.

Since I was a kid, I wanted to be an engineer. That is why I opted for this course. The college attracted me because of the curriculum it follows. They give equally weight-age to both academics and non- academic events. The curriculum included a lot of practical opportunities like regular lab sessions, industrial visits and an internship period of 6 months. All this appealed a lot too.

Most of the faculties hold some specialization pertaining to their fields. They're up to date with the recent trends and help us even outside the curriculum. They are always open to answering our most random questions. They gave us ample assignments, projects and the opportunity to give presentations which add to our understanding. Along with taking us to industries for field visits they also organize seminars by industry experts.
