My entire journey in SIT has been a memorable

College management is very supportive and inspiring. Every student is free to reach out to the management at any point of time for even a small concern. They give opportunities to students not only to excel in their academics but also help in enhancing their leadership skills by encouraging them to lead cultural as well as sports fests.

I find Course Curriculum as relevant as per the industrial point of view. The course structure includes Unit Tests, Assignments, Practicals and End Semester Examination. Practicals are given equal importance as well time so that whatever we learn in the class its implementation should be very clear. The curriculum is designed in such a manner that it includes subjects.

Companies such as Google, Microsoft, Dell, Vodafone, Mini Orange, Persistent, Tech Mahindra, visit every year for recruitment. The recruitment drive includes Test, Group Discussion, Technical Rounds followed by HR round. The percentage of students who get placed is around 75%. Yes, mock GD and personal interviews are conducted by industry specialists as and when needed.

Technical fests and Cultural programmes are held alternatively every year and sports fest is organised every year. The technical fest includes an exhibition of technical projects carried out by students in their respective branch and also technical events such as robot maze, Robo-soccer and many more such events are organized to encourage the participation of students.

Fee structure of SIT could be a bit expensive but the quality of education is worth it. So, the program fee is around 1.1 lakhs per semester and the mode of payment flexible includes NEFT/RTGS. An additional fee of 10000 is charged as caution money which is completely refundable at the end of the program. The fee-breakdown is completely transparent and the receipt provided has a detailed mention of the same.

Yes, the college offers a scholarship opportunity to one student per branch. The eligibility criteria for it is the student desiring scholarship should secure highest marks in his/her respective branch for the entire year (which includes two consecutive semesters in the same academic year). The respective branch co-coordinators provide a form which is to be filled and attached the mark-sheets.

SIT provides a rewarding experience for all students to encourage their students to excel in various fields. Gender radio could be considered as almost equal as the moto of the university is "Vasudhaiva Kutumbukam" which means the world is a family and there is no discrimination between any individual in the whole university on any grounds.

I do have a great network with my seniors of various branches. They give insights on important topics to be covered from the exam point of view as well as for campus placements. Some of my seniors have referred me in their organizations they are working with for internship training. Also, the college organizes and always welcomes alumni to meet.

I got the admission to SIT on the basis of JEE Mains Score, but one can get admission via SET( Symbiosis Entrance Test) and MH-CET as well. The admission process includes counselling organised at the campus in which based on the results and availability of seats of the entrance exam the student gets admission. Apart from its ranking as Best Engineering College in Pune and West Zone, there are several other things which attract me about my college.

The tentative number of lectures conducted are around 30-35 per week by the lecturers who all possess doctorate degree in their respective subjects. Most of them have a teaching experience of 8-10 years in renowned institutions. Few of them hold certificates and industrial experience in VLSI, Embedded Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence etc.
