Remarks
College is good and very affordable of an average earning family. Staff is wonderful and quality of education provided by college is A-grade. Expectations of every student is fulfilled by the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for 1st year is not very different from 12th. While the curriculum for 2nd and 3rd year large but great. Hons. Has difficult curriculum compared to Programme. In Hons. Student have to give 26 papers while in Programme student have to give 24 papers.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are good but for those students who are in B.Sc and B.Com. Many placement cells and companies visit the college every year and many student get job. But for B.A students getting placement is a little bit difficult.
College Events
College has 7 societies which keep organizing events on regular time. Every week 3 to 4 events are organized which include seminar, interviews of different personalities, theme based events, quiz, sport events etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is actually very good. For those who are from out of Delhi there is a hostel in college which is very cheap compared to fees of PGs. The fees is very low compared to education college provides.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides scholarship to those students who belong to Below poverty line or Economic Weaker Section. Scholarship is also available for toppers and for those who are physically challenged. College's fee is not high so scholarship is not vey much required as well.
Campus Life
Societies in college and staff of college provides many opportunities to those who have interest in Extracurricular activities and sports. College has Cricket team, Basketball team, Volleyball team, Kabbadi team and invidual spots time chess. Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer, Maths and Geography Lab is there in college.
Hostel Facilities
No I had not opted for hostel but the in infrastructure and facilities are quite good in hostel as I have many friends who live in the hostel. Mess is good and service provided by the staff is fantastic.
Alumni/Alumna
Amitabh Bachchan is Alumni of Kirori Mal College. Alumis are well connected with college. Seniors are very helpful in college. Senior helps in education as well as in personal life which provides a Wonderful environment for newcomers.
Admission
DU released a admission form in June for 12th pass student. The fees of the admission form was ?250. Admission was done on the basis of 12th marks through Cutoff released by DU. In cutoff list, cutoff of different colleges and different courses were mentioned. You just have to choose college and course to get admitted.
Faculty
Faculty is quite good as most of the professors and lecturers are M.Phil and Ph.D in their respective subject from Central Universities like JNU, BHU, DU. All the teaching stuff is good and supportive.
