The overall crowd may not seem so good but the students in courses with high cut off like Economics Hons and B.Com hons are much better. Proper funding in different socities is a issue otherwise the college is average.

The course is of medium difficulty. The teachers are very helpful and most of the books are US based. We only have 4 classes from 9. 30 to 1. 30 so it's overall not that hectic. The exam includes 5 marks of attendance, 20 of internals and 75 marks externals.

The placement and internship cell is very active in the college and would bring up many paid as well as unpaid opportunities thought out the year. Moreover the placement fest organised every year is a big event with 35+ companies attending in 2020.

I was part of the placement and E cell. We organzined our 2 days fest with many prominent speakers as well as a stand up comedy event and a roadies performance. The art and culture society is also good. For economics student joining enactus should be a must. The dramatics society is also quite good.

The fees of Economics hons is 7800rs per annum which is pretty cheap. They give you free laptops for 3 years which is included in the fees. As compared to other DelhI University colleges the fees is very low. Scholarships are also available.

Just at the beginning of the first semester, a notice is put up in the college website which can be availed, for economically weaker students. Loan facilities are not actually required as the fees is pretty low already.

The college ground is okayish. The volleyball court is maintained, they don't have table tennis nor the basketball court is well maintenaned. But the ncc in the college is very active. Students from all backgrounds are welcomed. Students from outside DelhI are much more than from within Delhi.

The college seniors are very helpful and give you good advice about the socities, the teachers and which teachers will give attendance without attending their classes. I hang out with my seniors atleast twice a week.

I had an option between ba eco hons at a few colleges better than satyawati, but they were very far from my house and moreover I preferred economics. the merit list comes along with the list of all the Du colleges and there is no personal interview.

Every college in DelhI University has both very good and enthusiastic teachers as well as some teachers who lack the will to teach. What I've noticed is that the teachers who have completed their phd do not engage much with the students but most of the teachers will help you whenever required.
