Experience of college life

No, the University is one of the best in India. We sometimes need big campus bit as the University Will grow we Will get it. NRTI commenced operations in September 2018 with its first batch of approximately 100 students enrolled for two undergraduate programmes.

It is a unique course in India based on transportation management. I think that the transport sector is going to be a huge demanding sector in India. Classes are air- conditioned with good infrastructure, smart classrooms, unlimited Wi- Fi. There is a library which has more than 5, 000 books. The course is good and prepares the students industry- ready. The course focuses more on practical skills rather than theoretical skills.

This institution was founded in 2018, and its first batch will get pass out in 2021. So till now, no placements has happened but as the faculty members are world- class faculty members so the placements will be good and with a good percentage. The institute is run by railways, and all the faculty members are from renowned institutions of India.

As the college now has 200 students, so the students organise small events. We don't have big fests. NRTI students have established the following clubs/societies: Explorer's Club, Sports Club, Quiz Club, Social Service Club, Dance Club, Literary Club, Movie Aficionados Club, Music Club, Media Club, Tech Club, Theatre Club, Event Management Club.

The gender ratio is 1:7. We have field visits to some railway related offices, we also have internship in Indian railways. Sports facilities are good but as campus is small we can use it for a limited period of time. We have clubs and they are functional. As the university is running in National Academy of Indian railways campus so sports facilities can be used in a limited time period. A small medical dispensary is available on the campus for medical facilities.

The institute's campus is under construction. As of now, we are in the NAIR campus of the officers. There is 24x7 hush speed internet available. Computer and railway labs, library, sports complexes for individual sports, indoor sports in the hostel, huge hostel rooms with air conditioner and geyser along with private bathroom are available. The campus also has a clinic, and the food served in the mess is healthy.

No as the University is new we don't have any alumnI network. National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI) is a pioneer in the field of transport education in India. Institute has faculty members who are professors of IITs and IIMs. All teachers are one of the best in India. The teaching quality is best, and the faculty is friendly and helpful. Here the curriculum is unique as not only they are preparing us with transportation knowledge but also soft skills are being taught as to settle well in the corporate world.
