Remarks

National rail and transportation university is the first university in the transportation domain in India. It is located in Vadodara and share campus with National academy of Indian Railway where IRMS officers are trained. It is a governmental university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is yet to be finalised as we are the foundation batch. We have done internship in railway and railway PSUs. We have also done industrial visits in Bombardier and Adani port. Faculties are mostly visiting from IIT Madras IIT Bombay and IIM Bangalore. Usha mohan from IIT Madras.

Course Fees: INR 173000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like railway PSUs can give us job. There are also other companies in transportation sector which can be good opportunities.

College Events

Campus life is good and there all cultural and other activities like sports are done in the campus. But since our strength is less and hence these are not as grand. But we take part in other college fests and seminar like transport expo.

Fees and Financial Aid

50% scholarship on tuition fees for foundation batch and financial aid for 20% students of a batch based on merit and should have at least CGPA 8 will be given 100% tuition fees waiver and 50%hostel fees waiver.

Campus Life

Sports facilities are good and are shared with nair. Wi fi is good and are having enough speed. Library is big enough to accommodate books for both nair and nrti students. Labs are well equipped. Railway labs are created to show signaling and trains movement.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is compulsory. We have to live in hostel and each room accommodates two students. Hostel rent is 33000 and rooms are air conditioned. All rooms are well equipped with all the required facilities.

Hostel Fee: INR 78000 per year

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

Also,our syllabus is designed in such a manner that, very few university (may be IIMs only in Indian case) in India have. Like we have critical thinking, design thinking, Operations research, etc and no other engineering colleges can provide this in India but it is general in abroad universities.We have trimester system which again makes it different than Indian colleges. In addition to that we have a choice based credit system that means students have freedom to choose their curriculum with their interests. NRTI a college for Transport Enthusiasts.

The National Rail And Transportation Institute is one of its kind and in the entire nation there is no other Institute that offers any similar curriculum. Since very small age I had developed an affection towards Transport Sector and being a Railfan it was quite simple while going for this college. This college offers a very wide variety of subjects and courses which is helpful in every way but at the same time due to vast variety, it becomes tough for the students to cope up with every single subject. The admission process is very simple we just had to qualify for an aptitude test taken by NRTI and I am really thankful to an Inside NRTI team that helped me in this.
