Life at AIT

The placement and internship opportunities are great. The life at AIT is very disciplined and adopts ARMY culture as the management is from retired army officers.

The course is solemnly based upon the SPPU(Pune University) and is affiliated with the same. It is outdated as in most cased without autonomy. Exams are divided into In-sem and End-sem conducted by SPPU. It isn't research driven but students are free to do what they want.

The placement of AIT is exceptionally good due to various factors including its location at IT hub pune and army background. Even various companies like Amazon visit the campus for Intern and full time hiring.

Various technical events including coding, paper presentation and many more. Cultural aakriti having inter branch competitions like folk, choreo,singing etc. Almost all sports competition including cricket,volley,football,basketball,TT, Lawn tennis etc. We have both inter branch competitions and fests for inter college competitions.

The fees is feasible and is currently its around 2.8 lacs for FE. Apart from it they have various scholarships as well. The college has full transparency in fee structure. Now they only accept online payment mode for fees submission. No additional cost is there apart from fees.

They provide various scholarships which are based upon ur marks in 12 for FE and subsequent marks of previous year for the later year.

The campus life is quite good but not so great. The sports, labs, library facilities are available and are quite satisfactory. There are various extra curricular facilities as well. They organise various talks and workshops regarding higher studies and corporate culture.

Yes, I opted for hostels. They have singlets,doublets and triplets mostly. It is allocated on the basis of one's marks in the semesters and for each year they have separate hostels which is due to restrict ragging cases.

The alumni network is not so big but very cooperative and helps in need. The interaction with senior has gone for a toss with restrictions to counter ragging.

The admission in AIT is based upon the rank of JEE- MAIN examination held every year by CBSE. According to current scenario if you have around 100 marks in Mains you can get admission at AIT. The admission is served both online as well as on spot(Seat booking).

The faculty of most departments are quite good and are pursuing or have phd degree. But in Engineering students hardly pay attention to what the teachers have to say as it is self study and hardwork which matters at the end and not mugging up things. There are around 15 faculty in each department.
