Nit Patna college review

Campus is too small,as well as academic section do not work properly.

Since our college Nit Patna is centrally governed all the course curriculum are like the IIT except for some of the additional subject addition by the director permission like in my case GREEN CHEMISTRY subject was added. Course curriculum are really helpful here they are only designed to meet the placement industrial visit can be provided only when teacher as well as director gives permission for that. All the students have to sign an application for that. Exam structure are well designed all the exam held at the fixed date but their is always delay in result process.

Placement here is quite good but not for civil engineering. Companies that visit are NTPC,L& T,adani power,paradon,sobha develoers etc with a package between 3-6 lakhs. In civil engineering at NIT PATNA,last year 48 students registered for the course and 41 offers were made. Many student opt for gate exam rather than being placed for a low package.since I m in 3rd year I have done my internship in 2 and year from BIHAR RAJYA PUL NIRMAN NIGAM LIMITED,PATNA.

Events: AIVA: It is basically an event only for civil branches. Companies bring their products here in this event to show to all like a shop in presence off our respected governor. Eccentrica:It is an event consisting of mainly your inside talent as well as your respective branches events like bridge design,robotics etc. EDM and band NIGHT: Famous musicians are invited to sing a song for us and we all students enjoys the whole night dancing. TECH FEST: consist of cultural as well as sports activities. competition are held between the different branches like civil,cse, electrical etc for different sports like cricket, football,kabadi etc. Corona Sankalp: It is actually a thing in which we teach the students who are not capable of going school or tuition free of cost.

Civil engineering Fee annual=Rs 1,27,000 Fee waiver for economically backward sectoin Income above 5 lakhs= no fee waiver Income 1-5 lakhs= 75% fee waiver Income <1 lakhs 100% fee waiver. No any additional fee charged for securing admission but in case you are late you will be fined according to that.There is always transparency in fee.

I opted for education loan of Bihar government it is" bihar student credit card".U can find out how to avail it by going to DRCC office in your city. They will ask you to submit documents like For education loan documents College bonafide Hostel fee receipt+ mess fee receipt Awashiye Income certificate Aadhar card( yours+father) Marksheet ( 10th+12th) Praman patra(for 10 migration certificate &for 12 provisional certificate ) College fee structure 4 passport size photo(father+yours) Bank passbook (yours+fathers).

Campus here is too small and hence one of the benefits of this is that all the building are very close to each other so we do not require to cycles to go like other colleges.here gender ratio is quite bad in my batch.It is 6:92.But since 2019 it has increases drastically.some of the labs are quite good here like electrical lab,electronic lab,fluid lab,but in physics equipment do not work.Extracurricular activities involve all the things which you can think of like kabadi,football,cricket,table tennis and many more as well as related to course activities like robotics,AutoCAD etc.

Yes.Hostels are quite good.one room two students.All the facilities are provided like wifi(5 gb/day),filtered chilled water,24hr light etc.one more thing hostel is located just near the holy river Ganga,always chilled air flow in night.In case hostel are not provided you have to live outside paying Rs 3000-4000 monthly rental. And mess charge of Rs 2500.

College seniors are ready to help you whether it is regarding notes,clothes, participation in extracurricular activities,even helping in clearing doubt regarding chapters.

I got admission here through jee mains entrance exam.I decided to choose since I off course want to be a good civil engineer. And also I want to go for higher studies. Admission process First you have to do counseling. After all the successful rounds you have to go to the college at the specified date with all the required documents like 10 th marksheet, provisional certificate,income certificate,12 th marksheet,adhar card,bank statement,passbook etc. Rest of the process will be covered by college computer centre. After that you will be given proper date of class start,etc.

Faculty here are ranging from age 35 to 60 +. Most of the faculty have done Ph.d here.on an average we have a daily of 3-4 lecture and two lab. Some teachers are quite good regarding teaching some are good regarding motivating and some are good in providing only information about college, placement etc.so all are on an average good teachers.
