My college is situated in a very open area and is very accessible by metro and the local buses. Students don’t have to walk or pay much to get to the college. The college canteen offers quality food at a very cheap rate so as to make it available for all
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which i am doing is not a practical subject. And i talk about the course structure, it’s good. I have a lots of books in my syllabus and for me it’s a plus point as i am a fond reader. I am always eager to learn new things. I more i read, the better i feel. In my course we are also taught other subject(which we have to choose from many options) so this is also good as we learn aomething different
Placement Experience
My college have different student societies, such as placement cell. This society calls different companies to our college. But my course is not a practical course so not many jobs are available for the students. My college organises internship fair time to time. And many internships are made available for the students. Talking about me, i have not done any internship.
College Events
Every year, in the early months, different colleges of Delhi University organises different fests. And these fests include many activites such as cultural night in which they invite many public figures and celebrities. Also, in my college, events like debate competition, dance competition and different departmental fests are organised
Fee Structure And Facilities
My college being a government college has a very less fees. Discussing about my college and my course, the fees is around 10 thousand per annum. This is as compared to other colleges is very cheap. This is a very justifiable amount to be asked by the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
i am studying in a government college and every knows that government colleges charges very fees from the students. So as the fees is very minimal, almost every one can afford to pay in full. Also, i am not aware of any such facility provided by the college
Campus Life
My college holds almost equal sex ratio. English honours is not opted by most of boys so in my class particularly the girl’s ratio is more than boy’s ratio. I have not seen any incident related to gender intolerance. Sports facility in my college is average.
Alumni/Alumna
I have not seen any alumni network in my college. Seniors in my course are very well connected and are very helpful. They always go hand in hand with the juniors and try to help in every possible way.
Admission
I have always been very fond of writing and reading. So i wanted to get this to another level and make bright future in this direction.This fondness of reading and writing would further help me to get into media or PR. So i thought this course will help me nurture and flourish and eventually make to achieve my dream.
Faculty
The teachers in my college are all highly intellectual and qualified. As i am a part of one India’s leading universities, Delhi University, they always maintain the quality of the teachers as well as the other staff
