Political Science in Deshbandhu College

College has its reputation in its science Courses, in arts it's stronghold is political Science, infrastructure lacks and college administration though improving is not that good, new student may feel certain problems first a fall

Course Curriculum is provided by Delhi University. Exam are held on semester basis. BA(H) Political Science is a three year course almost covering UPSC syllabus for Pol Science Optional. There will be overall 6 semester exams.

For Political Science Placement Cell of the college provide various interships, the interested students go for that. Talking of job opportunities they are quite low because you all know there is no straight options open for job after your BA

College celebrate its annual fest every year with every society of the college also do their annual fest, along with this every Department of the college also have their own Annual fest financed by the college.

Fee Structure is provided by the University.At present it's 10000 per annum. It's feasible, along with this per semester you have to pay examination fees ranging from 600-900. If you are from outside Delhi then PG and Hostel charges range from 6000 to 8000 per month

College Provide Scholarship according to Financials of the individual this requires your parents income certificate, your Grade sheet, 10th and 12 th marksheet and approval by the committee based on an interview

There are a range of societies in the college. Dance, Art, Debating, Quiz, Singing, Photography, magzine writing and so on. NCC And NSS camp are also there in college. Archery is a very famous sports event in the college.

No Hostel facility available in the College. There Are various Private Hostels and PG available within 2km of college. Those PG which are at walking distance are obviously quite expensive. Facilities range according to your choices

Senior students are very helpful, Alumni Network is not that strong. But one can get every possible information from seniors of there respective couse, infact all these department fest and College election happen for this purpose

College is affiliated to Delhi University.I got addmission on the basis of merit list and then by providing adequate Documents, As prescribed by Delhi University the process to get addmission is throughly available on Delhi University Site

Faculty is quite good infact Deshbandhu is often credited to have one of the best faculty for Political Science. Students from the Pol Science department have won Gold medal in Political Science from University
