College with good values

I am quite happy with the college. Students, teachers and the administrative staff put their best to get things done. But at the same time the college is not well recognised and popular among other delhi university colleges.

The course structure is good till now but psychology course is being changed continuously. We have final exams at the end of every semester and internal exams are conducted regularly in the semester. As psychology is a practical course lab classes sometimes become tiring after theory classes.

As mentioned our college is a new college so it does not provide with much internships. But students are free to do internships themselves and can easily get the letter of recommendation from the college. Now internship cell is also being established.

The fests are not as huge as other DU colleges but student union and all the department and society heads try to do their best. We have one annual fest, one cultural fest and other than this all departments and societies have their separate fests once every semester.

As it is a government college, fee is very feasible ranging from 14, 000-25, 000 for general category. Professional courses may have a bit more but general trend is this. Also the college provides various quotas for which the fee is very low.

I don't have any knowledge about the loans but the college provides cash price to top scorers of every year. Apart from this there are various cash price at university level also. Apart from this I am not really aware about this.

In terms of extracurricular activities the college is quite good. We have societies for everything ranging from dramatics, dance, singing to marketing cell, finance cell. We also have some international societies like the social entrepreneurship society ENACTUS. A good focus is given to the sports events also having good gender ratio.

Seniors in my course are very helpful and friendly. Teachers ensure that we have good junior- senior relationship. Superordinate goals are given for better relationship. Seniors are always ready to help juniors in any area like academics, extracurricular activities etc

I always wanted to do psychology honours but as my percentage was 94% i couldn't get into top colleges and this colllege was the best option in this percentage. The admission process in on the basis of merit and they take interview before doing all the formalities.

The faculty is young and very friendly. They have lot of knowledge and mostly all teachers are phd holders. Some might have less experience but that's also an advantage as they give 100% efforts and help students in every way possible.
