Mixed review about my college. I would divide this review with pros and cons Pros 1. Best placements that could match with some nits 2. A lot of activities that help with your exposure stuff. Cons 1.teaching isn't that good 2. Crowd is too much.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is as per the AICTE curriculum and had vast support on researches. Generally, it has college hours for about 6 a day. It conducts various internship programs and also lets you interact with highly qualified faculty and alumni.
Placement Experience
Placements are the things that attract most students to this college. Many companies came but adobe gave the highest package of 43.95 lakhs. Companies like adobe amazon Wipro are cognizant. LinkedIn has also requested day 0 placements for the 2021 batch.
College Events
Graphic Era hosts a lot of events. For a rough estimation, there is an event once every two weeks. It may be face painting, cycling, Mehendi, poster making, cricket, tug of war, and many more. But the most important is GRAFEST held two times a year. Famous celebrities are approached for this event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is between feasible and expensive if either you are from Uttarakhand or you have a scholarship. It is 70000 per sem with a scholarship. It is 85000 per sem with UK domicile. And 115000 per sem otherwise. To maintain a scholarship you have to have at least 70% with no back paper in each sem.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available on the basis of class 12th percentage or on the basis of jee the main rank. It provides vast discounts to any student having a scholarship like any other private university. In regards to the loan facility, I'm not aware of such.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is about 6.6:10 and about the parties, there are a lot of places to have those. The student diversity is really good, there are lots of people from the south and even from Andaman, Uganda, and many more. Seen/Faced no issues in regards to racism sex orientation, and politics.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the college provides regular interactions with the alumni and even the best performer of every batch, you can ask questions as and when you like and they are of helpful nature. Generally, the workshop and internships are under the guidance of seniors who pave the way for you to achieve your task.
Admission
A Graphic Era office situated in Lucknow completed the admission processes and was granted on the basis of 12th percentage. Informed within two days about the admission. It had many options to choose but I chose Btech in Cs.
Faculty
The faculty is qualified and is mainly of IIT's, some teachers are good but others lack teaching experience although they have great and vast knowledge, teaching proficiency. All the faculties of computer are good.
