Remarks

Teaching is really good. Extracurricular activities to be improved. More cultural committees should be made. And more activities should be conducted more frequently and involvement should be shown from the management and more support

Course Curriculum Overview

4

If you love this profession, our curriculum is good. Because you will love learning. Otherwise it's hectic. 1st year has 3 subjects. You have practicals and labs and dissection in 1st year. And you have clinical postings from 2nd year where you will be exposed to patients in various departments where you get to interact and learn from patients, also the facilities will teach you in clinical postings.

Placement Experience

4

Yes. Internship is provided in our college. Internship was really good. We learnt alot. We got alot of opportunities to learn things. Our consultants helped us alot in learning things. Surgery and paediatrics faculties are the best. We learnt the best things in these postings. Stipend in our college for interns- 5000

College Events

4

Vaibhav- a cultural and sports fest conducted in our college every year. And BGS utsav will be conducted every year where all the bgs community will be involved. Also teachers day will be celebrated and freshers day etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a little expensive as it is a private college. For students who come thourough NEET with government seat it's NEET fee ( 1.5lakh 1 lakh tuition fee) in our college. And payment Fee - NEET fee(around 7lakh+ 1lakh). Management fee is very costly.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can apply for SC/ST, OBC scholarship provided by the governmentand DMC reimbursement for SC/ St students given by directorate of medical sciences. And you can apply for other government scholarships. There is no other specific scholarship provided by the college

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activities are avarage as only 2 fests conducted thouroughout year. Girls are dominant than boys. There is no gender discrimination. Both are given equal importance and equal care. There is no discrimination between race and religion and economy status

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel infrastructure is really good. But food is average. Single sharing and 2 sharing both are available. Seats are adequate in number. You can join anytime. Single sharing is with attached bathourooms. And 2-3 sharing is available with common bathourooms, you can choose whichever you're comfortable with. Single sharing is 1,35,000. And 3 sharing is 1,00,000 in old building. 2 sharing is 1,15,000 in new hostel

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah few seniors are really good and seniors advise is definitely needed in medical field. Without seniors guidance is actually difficult in this field. Be it during or after the course seniors guidance is a must in this field

Admission

I got admitted thourough CET quota. Because I like medical profession. I wanted to be a doctor. I got 2000 rank in Karnataka CET and I got a seat thourough karnataka counseling. And I got admitted here in the year 2014. I had options of other private colleges. Since my priority was Bangalore, I joined here.

Faculty

4

It's good. Faculties of anatomy and physiology are really good. Pharmacology faculties are the best. Pathology is good. Microbiology is okay. ENT is good. Surgery and paediatrics are the best. OBG is really good. Medicine is okay- needs to be improved

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
