Professors are not good teachers Or even researchers.

The course curriculum is designed keeping in view the student's needs and the companies needs for placement. The atmosphere in some departments is good for research but not in others. It depends on the faculty members of the department. Though the load and the course work in some departments is heavy as in ECE and eventually you will deal with it, it prepares you well to manage numerous things.

The placement and internship process is uniform for all the IITs. You have the opportunity to avail an internship at the end of your third year. And in the beginning of the fourth year, you get campus placements. The companies and the roles are too diverse, from design, finance, coding, management everything.

There are numerous events, lectures, and talks all around the year. But the major ones are 2 technical events Shrishti and cogni,1 cultural event thomso and 1 sports event Sangram. The events last for the weekend. It sees participation from various colleges from different states.

The fee is divided into residential and nonresidential categories. The residential includes mess, hostel, and tution fee. The non-residential includes only the tution fee. All btech students are supposed to live in hostels. The security is very good for students inside the campus. The fee is given per semester. And they accept, DD, online payment, challan, etc.

The college do offer NTSE scholarship based on the students who cleared NTSE Or secured a rank (I guess till some particular score or rank).

Gender ratio 10:1 (boys to girls). The population here is diverse in culture, nationality, race, and economic status. The extracurricular activities are highly promoted may it be dance, music, art or robotics, debates, etc. Different groups are dedicated to such activities and work hard in the direction of their interests.

The hostels here are initially in the first 2 years on a sharing basis. The room is big enough to accommodate 2 people. And from 3rd year you get separate rooms. This is the case for girls. The boys get separate rooms from the beginning or at max 2nd year. Since there are more number of boys hostels than girls. The room is spacious enough in most of the hostels.

The alumni network is diverse. May it be the fields of research, startup, arts, or corporate. Apart from this, they are resourceful ad helpful.

The entrance exam is IIT JEE. Given by students all over the country for IIT and NIT colleges of India. It is one of the most prestigious college in the country. The culture and the alumni network is huge and diverse. It contributes to the overall personality development of an individual.

The number of lectures and tutorials are good. But some of the professors don't know how to impart knowledge, even when they are masters in their subjects. The students take time to adjust to their teaching technique and may need to put some extra effort. But many of the professors put their hard work which shows in their lectures everyday which is not only informative but interactive.
