Remarks
College provided me with such solid platform that whatever I am today is because of them. College is a temple of learning and essentially it has enlightened me to work harder and sincerely throughout my life.
Entrance Preview
It was on merit basis i.e. on 12th board score. I passed with distinction and the reason for opting this college was faculty of the department.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is prescribed by Delhi University so that was good. I opted for taxation and finance as electives. The curriculum covered all subjects related to field of commerce, thereby, making me jack of all trade.
Internships Opportunities
As such no internships were offered in the campus. We were persuaded to approach of our own by the faculty. Also, majority were CA, CS aspirant, therefore, they were engaged with their articleships.
Placement Experience
It was pleasant and though not many came but few big shots like E&Y, KPMG and Genpact visited our campus. They offered packages upto Rupees 2, 00, 000.
College Events
The department celebrated its own two day festival besides regular intra college and inter college activities. The college own fest is extravagant event with bands like Euphoria visiting the campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is a government aided college. So fees structure was nominal being first year fees around Rupees 6000 with 2nd and 3rd year around Rupees 5000. Apart from this Rupees 1000 was charged towards examination fees every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offered scholarship and loan facility in the form of books to needy or EWS category. I did not availed any of them because I was not eligible for them.
Campus Life
Campus life is must for every child in his life. It adds an extra shine to the personality and help the one to face the world with pride. The extracurricular activities provide a good forum to interact with various other colleges and have an all round development in the personality.
Hostel Facilities
I was local student of the students. hence I never resorted to such facilities. However, whatever I could gather from my hostel acquaintances, it was good.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the college has created a very sound alumni network and conducts ALUMNI DAY every year. It provides a platform to rejoice the old acquaintances ones again.
Exam Structure
The exam structure was hectic with exams taking usually more than a month due to number of subjects being high.
Faculty
Faculty was dedicated, good, hard working, student friendly and also ready to go an extra mile for the students. They constantly strived to give something extra apart from bookish knowledge.
