To be honest I only applied for Delhi University through CUET and I selected many colleges from DU like Miranda, Hansraj, Lady Shri Ram, Kirori Mal, many from the south and off campuses and in the first phase I got this college DRC and this course BA Programme English and History and I thought that this was an interesting course so that's why I chose this subject and college but if I could have upgraded my choices there was a chance that I could get seleced in other college but I chose to go with this option and some of my friends also got that college. I did not applieed for any other university/college except DU. To get to DRC college we have to attempt the CUET entrance exam from which we can get admission here by filling this college in your preference.For general category the cutoffs get so high for specifically north campus colleges, But as I belong to ST so that way it was a bit easier to get admission....Read More

This college is under the University of delhi and they have a totally different method of choosing their students as compared to other private colleges or universities. Here we apply to all the colleges under DU from our choice according to the course that we want to take. We will nake a list of those colleges fron the most favorable one to non favorable ones according to our choice. Each of these college have their own criteria to accept students, from different no. of seats in each category to their cut off marks. since this college wasvery good in terms of psychology and also the department has ac which other colleges like lsr and jmc dont.. so yes ultimately i like this college and the green lawn and also the campus is really fun. i did not get rejected from any college and the admission process was thru cuet so yes it was good and very stadardiesed i would say so it wasnt unfair or anything and people got what they wanted. so many people didnt get any college so i amjust glad to get one and that too this good....Read More

I got Institute of home economics Delhi in my first spot round but later upgraded and got this college, daulat ram. But since the previous college admission fees were too high and out of my preferred place i chose this present one. So far, i did not get rejecttfrom any other college i applied. Daulat Ram College has one of the best faculties for psychology hence it was top three in my preference list. Very active in extra curricular activities along with an amazing faculty. other colleges above this were Lady Shri Ram college and Jesus and Mary college. i missed both those colleges by 20,25 marks. Lady Shri Ram is the best for psychology followed by a tie between JMC and DRC in my opinion. although JMC's western music society was my key interest and the location of the college which is chanakya puri made me put it in second....Read More

My preference was always Miranda House but the cut off were too high, also my parents wanted me to study in a girls college so I mostly opted for girl's College only, moreover i thought botany would help me to get better opportunities in research and that's why i opted this subject in DRC. also DRC is well known for it's academic, however there was two seats left for Botany in Miranda in spot rounds, i wasn't known about it, if known, i would have applied for Miranda. The admission is based on your Cuet UG score. Eligibility is you have to study physics, chem and biology in class 12. Cut offs are high to be honest.
