Remarks

The worst thing about the college was the management, least caring and never doing there job. Students will end up being frustrated every time filling a form or collecting something from the student counter as the management was very slow. They won't work for the students and make students stand in line for hours for a small work.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is old, not new it's been going on since 5-6 years the same is been taught. Some subjects are technical and interesting. But others are not related to the course. It's not research driven, and no industrial visits are made. The exam structure is 2 semesters every year for 3 years and 5 papers in every semester. For on-campus placements the course will not help much it'll just make up for this that you did a course in marketing for getting a job you need to have done something yourself. And gained experience yourself thourough other ways

Placement Experience

4

There is a placement cell in the college, and it brings enough placement opportunities as per the different courses. Delloite, EY, KPMG, and many others visited for campus placement. The percentage of students placed from our college is around 10-15%. The college does not take any special steps for placement seasons all of it is done by the students in the placement cell. Bringing in companies and making students know about the process.

College Events

5

There's a annual college fest every year with singers, celebrities and many competitions within that. That is the biggest event of the year with lakhs of sponsors and almost 100% participation from students. Students can go thourough the interview process done by each society to get selected in different teams to perform one or the other task. And other fests are organised by different societies, like the E-cell organises E- summit, Marketing society organises the Marketing Fest and others also doing the same.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible, my college fees was around Rs. 10,000 per year. And the mode of payments provided are Bank transfer, Debit and Credit Cards. There is a small additional fee for examination around Rs. 500. And the college provide complete transparency for the fees breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships were not applicable. And no scholarship were offered. And i didn't opt for any education loan.

Campus Life

1.5

Campus life was amazing. That was the only cool thing about the college, there was something or the other going on. Some or the other competition was on every week. A new debate competition, or a mun, or some fun competition like a treasure hunt. The college had six or seven cultural societies, dance, music, art, debate, quizzing, and fashion. The sex ratio was not that good in every class but over all it was okay, there was a girl for every 5 boys or around that. The tolerence scene was chill, but the college had many ST students who were not that good enough and will always behave differently. Politics will always revolve around the college, with every new session a new student body has to be elected, and for the first sem, first thouree months will always go around elections. Debats happening between candidates, candidates trying to get people to vote for them in some or the other way.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

No, hostels are not available in our college. As it does not have a great infrastructure. People can take up PG's around the college. The rentals for the same depends on what kind of and how big you need. Sharing one's can start from 6-7k and if you want to get it alone it will be around 12-14k.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors were very helpful and will let you know about many things. And how the attendance would work, and help you with joining societies and will be of great help thouroughout the college life. As of now there's no alumni network, you may contact some alumni thourough LinkedIn, he/she might help you out.

Admission

I got admission into this college thourough merit list. The admission procedure was over i got in thourough vacant list. I opted for this course because i was interested in marketing, and I was keen to study in Delhi University. The admission procedure was simple but it was time consuming as the college administration is very slow and they don't even want to work properly. The dates for starting of the admissions are in july, but i got admission August end as I got admission thourough vacant list after all the admission procedure was over.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college was good enough, they were alumni of top colleges of india. They provide clarity about the subject and some of them even have 10+ years of teaching experience. But it's about the course that they can only teach that and it's not good enough. The approx number of lectures per week were 30, around 30. The leftures did not hold any relevant industry experience

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
