Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties of TIST are having very excellent techniques to make every student learn by professionalism. Hands-on experienced learning creates professionals with here in TIST rather than just being course reader. The dedication of faculties are more to be pointed out, they bring out effective methods for conveying the difficult topics.

Our college provides many companies for placements such as Infosys, TCS, Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Pvt Ltd, etc. Details are available on the official website of TIST.

College Events

We have AIKYA, Christmas celebration, Advay, Mudra, College day, Sports day, Diwali, Department wise technical fests and many more celebrations are conducted in the campus which makes a feeling like home. Everything goes as managed by the college council team.

Fee Structure And Facilities

75000/- rupees is for the general quota (in 2019) when scholarships are applied the prices go very less in some cases. Other fees structure for Management quota and NRI quota is known at the time of admission only. Please contact the admission cell, they'll guide you with the current fees structure.

No, I haven't applied for any loans or scholarships yet. It's available in college. While taking admission it can be clarified.

Campus Life

Equal respect for everyone. We do participate in inter-college sports competition as well as intra college sports competition. We do have sports day for strengthening our talents. MUDRA is the festival where students come up with other talents like dancing, singing, etc. Moreover, ADVAY is the special festival in the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very friendly to us. They support us in studies and in extracurricular activities. Alumni's have shared about their college days.

Admission

I've gone through a few best colleges. But when I saw the campus of TIST, it attracted me through its professional atmosphere. I came to know there are 8 B.Tech courses and one course has just started, that was B.Tech RA, the very 1st course in Kerala since 2019. So I met with the admission cell and was excited to take admission in this branch.

Faculty

The faculties are amazing, they give us their field of interests and they teach us the difficult parts very easily. They took a lot of hard work, can explain their points much time till we get those cleared. Electronics department faculty staffs are very excellent. I belong to the Department of Electronics in-branch RA.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
