Remarks

The college is good and recent developments including a smart screen in classes and large TV displays have made it technically advanced. The campus has so many historical places near it to roam and natural conditions are so better because of the greenery on the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum includes DBMS, programming languages, Operating Systems, Data structures, and Algorithms all of which are quite interesting to study. 6th sem is devoted to internship or college projects so that you could enhance your industrial experience. Various companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs come for hiring interns as well as for job purposes.

Placement Experience

5

The companies that came for my branch (Information Technology ) are some dream companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Google India, some regional companies, and others like TCS, Wipro. These companies come for both job as well as internship recruitments. The average placement for our branch is 99%. The Institute has its own Training and Placement Cell to train students for the placement as well as internship recruitment which works optimally to get every student placed in a company.

College Events

5

The two best events which are recognized nationally are confluence managed by our college clubs and the Techspardha organized by the Technical society, Technobyte. Nearly 2000 people come to Confluence every year and it contains about 60 or more events from astrology to technical writing to painting to hackathons to even adventurous games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is based on parental income. There are 3 slots - below 1lac, 1-5 lac, and above 6lac income slab. And that's how the fees are different for everyone and hence it is a very efficient and feasible structure. Initially, some amount is to be submitted to JOSAA for security. This fund is then transferred to the respective admitting college as a fund for the respective candidate's fees. Besides normal fees, if students want to have a hostel facility, extra charges are proposed and a monthly mess bill is to be paid separately.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship for students but students can avail scholarship from their state govt. Policies or central govt. Policies and every required document are provided by the academic department easily.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio is rather as expected from an engineering college. Our branch has about 120 boys and 20 girls. The campus life is decent as they have all kinds of sports to play in the evening and have a very good atmosphere for spending a good time. Various events are held at different times and it also includes various paid or unpaid workshops every month.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

First-year students are placed in 3 hostels to provide better security over other hostels so that they stay comfortable having 3 seater rooms for sharing only. After one year, every student is allotted a room from the remaining 7 hostel's empty rooms. There is no specific charge for rooms but some electric charge, water, and other charge is included in mess bill which is same for every student of a specific hostel ( various t&c too). The rooms are above average and cleanliness is done on a regular daily basis by 2 sweepers for every floor.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are the best people to talk to regarding any personal issue or asking for educational help. No scene of ragging or anything for so many years. The alumni eventually come as guests in various events who are so calm and well progressed in their lives. Mess food is somehow not good but better than other paid hostels I guess.

Admission

JOSAA conducts Joint Entrance Exam (JEE-Mains) to admit students to various govt.Engg. colleges through an entrance exam and priority-based admission. If you get 180-200, you will get admitted to the best branch here. This exam is held twice a year ( subject to changes ) in January and May. The registration starts 2 months before the exam. After the result declaration, you have to make a priority list for admission into college based on your choice of college and streams/subjects. Then you have to verify documents 2-way and then deposit money and some other processes to get finally admitted.

Faculty

4.5

The no. of lectures are sure much more and attendance criteria deepen the trouble but you could get your doubts solved anytime by the teacher as they have vast knowledge and they update their knowledge every day. The teacher's ages range from 24 to 50 but it really doesn't matter. They have all graduated from decent colleges and pursued or are pursuing Ph.D. from various good colleges and interesting subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
