College review

The college is overall good. Since all the students are army wards we have a very good bonding inside the campus. We follow non-violence and no ragging inside college which is a very good thing for everyone especially the freshers.

It is a profession course of engineering. College turns us out into total quality engineers by the end of the course. We are well trained in all aspects to cope up with growing industrial needs. We do more practical things to get a clear hands on for all the machines and devices.

The college offers a wide range of internship and placement opportunities. Average placement package is 7 lakhs. Many a good companies like microsoft, credit suisse, UBS and many more come here for placements, internships and pre-placement offers too.

We have several inter college and intra college events round the year. We get to see around 10k footfalls in all out intercollege fest. The technical fest is SOLUTIONS with more than 60 technical and fun events. The cultural fest is AMETHYST having 40+ events. The is the biggest, the sports fest know as PACE where we get to see a very huge crowd from all over the country including the miltary academy like NDA, INA and CME.

Fees is quite feasible for a middle class family. College charges us 2,42,000 per year for four years. The fees include academics fees, hostel fees, messing fees, wifi fees and everything else necessary. The college does provide a defined transparency in fee breakdown and provided all the facilties it charges us for.

Yes the college provides scholarships for meritorious students. Various companies also offer scholarships to meritorious students on behalf of AIT. The scholarship amout ranges from 10 k to 2 lakhs. Some of them are one time and some are renewal too.

Our campus size is just 30 acres while the entire college strength is 1350. The college provides us a more than average infrstructure but all the basic facilties. Include good quality courts indoors and outdoors. The CODING culture of AIT is amazing. We have different clubs for specific activities. Some of them are robotics club, debates and dramatics club, maths club and many more to give an all round development to avery individual and in the mean time provides a gpod opportunity for people to pursue their hobby.

Hostels are provided for every student studying in the college. Its upto the students is he opts to stay in or out for college premises. The total fees include the hostel fees too. The hostels are very hygienic. Hostels have singlets, doublets,triplets and quadralets. Room allotments are subjected to priority and availabilty.

The alumni network of our college is pretty vast including people from many a companies. The aluminies are always ready to help us in every possible aspect. The have all been very happy to have been a part of this college. All of them have turned into perfect gentleman engineering after passing out.

After appearing in Jee mains, every year the AIT admission form comes out. Only the army wards are elligible to fill it. Base on the jee mains rank a separate merit list comes out know as AIT MERIT list Based on which admission takes place in june end week.

Tentatively the adminitration has around 180 people out of which around 85-90 are teaching staff include well qualified HOD's from four departments. The average age of teachers is around 45 and all are well qualified with masters in respective fields. They have good theoretical and practical knowledge and hold a good grip on there subjects.
