Remarks

There is a bit problem in the Electricity as there are power cuts during the Summers. All it needs is a Fix in this problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Course is covered duely as there are classes all week long except Sundays. Then there are practicals, Surprise Tests, Vivas, Quiz Tests, Internals and Semesters. There are various National Seminars also and various empowerment programs too. Various Environmental acts are also followed during Free time. Then We have our Sports, Annual Function, Tech Fest, Cultural Programs and many more competitions.

College Events

4.5

Every year There are the Technical and Cultural Fests in the college which would be of 3-4 days in the Even Semester. Along with a fests there is also the Annual Sports and Games. Students from all the branches and of all Years participate in Sports and Fests. Various Tech events and various fun events are organised during the Fest days and Many students actively participate in this. Generally These events are participated by the Students of Our College only.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are to be paid before the semester begins. Being a Govt. Controlled College, the fees are not high. 30, 900 for the Odd Sem and 1500 for the Even Sem. Additionally only Library fines are given by the Students who have not returned or renewed within the due date.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College offers Scholarships provided by the Government. The eligibility criteria depends on the income of Father and the Score of the Student. For General & OBC Students, the average scholarship is 10, 000 per year per student and for SC/ST, the average scholarship is 40, 000 - 50, 000 per year per student.

Campus Life

4.5

There are various Labs for various practical purposes. There is a Robotics Club which organises competitions in the Tech Fest. There is a Utility Block inside the Campus which is Students Activity Area. There are Different clubs like Drama, Dance, Singing, Photography, Writing and Publishing. All these clubs organise various competitions on various occasions and distribute prizes. Equal Opportunities are given to all the Genders. There is no partiality in any of the Club's.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, I have adopted Hostel. In the 1st year, Private Hostels were adopted by the College which were outside the campus but from the 2nd year In Campus hostels were alloted. Generally the hostel rooms were 3 bedded and were enough. And There were many facilities like Water Purifier, Water Cooler, Wi-Fi, Badminton Court, various sports equipments, TV in the Common room, and a Mess room in the Campus hostels. The Hostel in which I am living is a 370 seated hostel and there is another hostel of 150 students and a New Hostel is being constructed of 500 seats.

Alumni/Alumna

The Seniors are very friendly. They help in every need. They are more like a friend than a senior. When we need any notes during exams, seniors are always there to help with notes and study materials.

Admission

I had given the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) in the year of 2016 and was allotted this college and the particular branch from the JEE Score and 12th Percentage. The Process was very simple as We had to upload our documents before hand during the time of allocation. Only the part was Depositing the Demand Draft for the admission with a form. And Coming to the dates, different dates are alloted for the admission of different branches.

Faculty

4.5

There are Some Strict Faculties and Some friendly too. The number changes from Department to Department. In My department, There are 5 Regular Faculties, 5 Guest Faculties and a Lab Assistant. All the Regular Faculties are middle aged and the Guest ones are bit young. All play their part accordingly and are good in the subjects. In labs also, sufficient teaching is given regarding the practical instruments.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
