Internships Opportunities

It is a good experience to be in college. I am in now second year and i want to complete the graduation so that i can get better job and good post in my job and good income.

Placement Experience

It is good but for me it's not possible now because i am in 2nd year and for good job i have to passed the third year so i can get a job placement and better salary as well.

It's pleasure to be in college event all of the students celebrates the event that organizes in lour college. All the students work together to celebrates the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is low because it's a government college. So we don't have to pay much fee like privates college. So it has a good fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, but in school i was awarded with communication award with other person and i also appear in essay writing programe. I was awarded for this also.

Campus Life

It is good experience with the college friends. We play together and share work so that no one get load of it. we also play sports like-cricket, batminton etc.

Hostel Facilities

It has no hostel facilities because it is a open college. we have to go every saturday for classes and return home. We have to do this in a week.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

In college we have to attend only one day so there is no violence. We dont get in contact of senior student so there is no problem. We have no comments on the senior students.

Exam Structure

The structure of exam is very hard. we have to work hard to attent the exam and to get good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
