Many goods have been mentioned earlier. The only thing that college lacks is that it's campus location being not-so-urban. However, coaching centres for CAT/GATE have started developing by now.

AIEEE Currently admissions are being held through JEE. Uttarakhand technical university conducts the counselling. The college is run by govt. and therefore most sought after.

Course curriculum matches with the standards as desired by the industries. The IITs' pattern is followed in teaching. Since examinations and evaluation pattern is entirely internal throughout the year, the burden over students is reduced a little bit and therefore students can give quality time to extra-curriculars also.

Internship opportunities are quite less and they need to be created by students themselves. However, alumni play a great help in this area. Stipend offered differs from place to place.

The academic fees including hostel charges amounts to a mere sum of Rs 10000 per semester. Apart from that fooding charges are around 13-14 k per semester.

Scholarship are awarded to SC/ST students every year. Economically weak students can also apply for the scholarship.

There is a statutory 30 % reservations for girls in admissions. This way boys to girls ratio becomes 3:1.Various cultural societies are run by students themselves. First year students are admitted into these societies through interviews conducted by seniors.Besides, there are branch chapters associated with each branch.

Hostel facilities are best. Students are accommodated in triple seated rooms in first year, double-seated in second year and single seated rooms in third and final year. Plus each hostel has WiFi.

The college was established in 1965. Thus, it has a huge alumni network. It's alumni are present in every sphere of the society. Alumni meet is held every year which is attended by hundreds of alumnis.

Students take up 6-7 courses per semester. Each course has 3 hrs of lecture and some have labs too (2 hrs) in a week. In all, the schedule of lectures is very lenient towards students.

The faculty is highly experienced with most of them having more than 25 years of experience in teaching. Almost all the faculties are doctorates from IITs.
