Entrance Preview

I just applied on internet and gave interance exam and appeared in interview and gor 3 position in the entrance. I was interest to do mass communication so i took admission on this course.

Internships Opportunities

My internship was not that great because i was doing my internship in indiatv, but after 35 days my college ask me to leave that and do classes otherwise. They will not give my admit card for exam.

Placement Experience

Not good at all, they just sait at the time of admission they will will give placements 100% but after college they never entertained us.

College Events

Events was good, we had many events like alumnus party, fresher party, anniversary party, class party etc. The most exciting was when celebrities did come to our college on anniversary party.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very very high like rs. 78000 per year, and examination fee, lab fee, event fee, party fee were not included.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship, no loan facility available for students. I applied for minority scholarship of west bengal and i got 20000 rs but they didn't gave me that money.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

Think Big and Do big

The college to which I had applied after my 12th result is the Iaan School of Mass Communication. It's actually a Private College but under the recognized university Makhanalal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Mass Communication. The process of admission to this college is First Come and First Serve. There are no such marks required but the person should be 12th Pass. Our college provides various courses Degree as well as Certificate courses such as Journalism, Photography, Video Editing, Radio Jockey, Public Relation, Film and TV course etc. When I first came to this college, a counselling session was held for me in which they had asked me to tell me about yourself, which field you want to make your career etc. Our college provides different facilities such as Hostel for Students, every year tour to Manali, Mata Rani puja every year Navratri at College Premises, news channel visit every week....Read More
