Course Curriculum Overview

Cousre curriculum is good. Follows recent trends of corporate.Provides soft skills training along with the course. GD practices for final placements. This course consist of four semesters.Presentations and assignment are taking place on regular basis.

Placement Experience

Placement records are good till now.college provides internship opportunities as well as live project opportunities to each and every students.Companies like khimji Ramdas, wipro,ITC,HDFC bank etc will comes for final placements.

College Events

There are different committees which are assigned for different events.All committee have their own responsibility for organizing events successfully.Almost every festival is celebrated in college.Faculty and students take equal interested in contribution of successful events.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is outside the campus at some distance.Rooms are double- sharing.Per month hostel fee is 12000 and plus separate electricity bill,which is little bit costly.provides 3 times meal.that is not so good.Its just ok, not very good.

Admission

I got admission through the entrance exam score followed by GD and PI.The college has it's own entrance exam and it also accept the scores of CAT,MAT, XAT,CMAT. After selecting students on the score basis call students for GD and PI. Conduct 2 rounds of interview then final merit list is declared.

Faculty are well qualified and expert in their specialization, having at least 10 years of teaching experience and 20-25 years of corporate experience.You can ask your doubts anytime. Faculty are from top B-Schools.

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

As i score 66%ile in CAT so when i applied for FOSTIIMA i was in normal batch not in elite one. But if you score less than 65%ile in CAT so you have to give FBSAT an Enterance Exam of fostiima and after that you will be selected if you scored well...Read More

Best college in Delhi for MBA students
