I Choose this college because my friend or you can say my senior is in the college who is my neighbour also recommends the Roorkee college of Engineering who shows me the advantage of joining this college because in a short span of time since the Year of its establishment, RCE has achieved new heights and ranked among top 40 engineering colleges of India and have second rank among all technical institution of Uttarakhand. RCE is now the most coveted educational destination for the young engineering aspirants.

I have completed my B. Tech in CSE from Roorkee College of Engineering which is affiliated from Uttarakhand Technical University. In RCE you can be sure of the Highest standard of teaching. The RCE faculty members, most of whom have wide industry experience. At RCE you would experience "learning in the lap of nature" . Throughout your stay you can be sure of getting the personal attention you need.

In Roorkee college of Engineering there are some pre placement activities like soft sills and personality development skills, communication skills, Mock Interview, Pool Interview, Telephonic interview, Video conference, The special Campus drive initiatives which are run by the Training & Placement cell regularly they also trained the students through pre placement activities like personality development, communication skills etc the Training and placement team includes Chief Executive officer, Manager T&P, Executive T&P I, Executive T&P II, Executive T&P III. As far as drives are concerned they are very much particular about one thing that is placement. Main Concern is to place students in good reputed companies whether it's through on- campus/ Off- campus/ Pool-campus/Job fair etc

In Roorkee college of Engineering, during my course there is an atmosphere of academic integrity, respect and civility where complete class attendance is assumed. RCE education requires hardwork and major time commitment. High quality effort is expected, In RCE you havo to manage your time wisely. Respect for teachers and fellow students and civility in voice& word is necessary. As every individual develops a personality of their own. Roorkee college of Engineering is well equipped with high speed internet connectivity. The students can surf the web, enhance their knowledge and use the e- information. The whole campus is well connected through wired as well as wireless networks.

There are separate Hostel for boys and girls is there, Hostel & mess charges which is optional includes Simple Hostel & mess charges = Rs 60,000/- Hostel (Semi deluxe- Air cooled) & mess charges = Rs 70,000/- Super Deluxe AC = Rs 80,000/- Non- Veg food available in campus @ 12,000 per annum which is also optional

Roorkee College of Engineering is running the B. Tech Courses which is affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University. The B. Tech courses is running on semester basis, there are 8 semesters duration. Odd semester runs between July to December whereas Even semester runs between January to June. There are following course in the B. Tech Program Civil Engineering, Computer science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering is there
