Course Curriculum Overview

The examination are not a lot of burden The University of Delhi allows you to focus on your extracurricular activities and to focus on what you have to do in the future, so instead of rushing before completing your course you are actually going to coaching and enjoying with your friends on weekends, it is not that study is yayken as a light feather, the curriculum is rigorous and you have to in a respective GPA range to get promoted to the next year. The course in which I am is aimed at making us sensitive towards the society and examine the changing patterns of the lives of people and ethics.

Placement Experience

Companies that come to college are photography firms CA firms hr hirers and industrialists like the NTPC which gives a really good package, the highest package this year was around twelve lac rupees per annum. The college internship and placement cell works continuously for bringing in high paying companies for hiring students.

The sports facility is really great and we have one of the largest sports grounds in the college in the entire University of Delhi, the extracurricular activities, college sustains every religion and there has not been any case of racial or ethnic discrimination so far and never will be, the college has international students as well from China, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, the labs are great and well equipped, the robotics lab in the college is in collaboration with IIT Bombay and a new chemistry lab is under construction which will be bigger and better, labs are seperate and fully equipped for each discipline.

4

The college girls hostel is under construction right now and is supposed to be completed in three years and for boys there are a number of PG's available at reasonable rates starting from seven thousand per month to a maximum of eighteen thousand per month and are available for single, double or triple sharing.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni meet was conducted just a month before and was a huge success, the Alumni network is strong and they are really helpful to the college, also the seniors they are really cool and are always ready to help you for personal and or social problems.

Admission

I had to register for the University of Delhi admissions which began in the month of April, after the release of the cutoffs, I went to the best colleges which matched my cutoff and then I landed here in Rajdhani College University of Delhi, which has now become a sanctuary for me.

Faculty

5

Faculty of our college is very friendly and hard working teachers. They were well qualified and proffesional in their field of work. The teachers use to help the students in solving out their problems. The faculty members use to have a daily meeting after the college hrs. They sit together and discuss about the matters of the college. They seems to be very interested in their teaching. and are very punctual by the college timing.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
