Vedulla Krishna's Review On Army Institute Of Technology - [AIT], Pune

A very good college for computer science and information technology for electronics and Telecommunication this college would not be the best choice with respect to placements. Overall personality development in this college will get best marks than any other college because of the confidence level of the students in this college.

I took IIT-JEE,AIEEE,BITSAT. My IIT-JEE & BITSAT score was not enough to get me the computer science branch in these colleges. In AIEEE I got 126/360. After that I found out that even AIT is much better than many NIT's. So I opt for it without taking a drop in my career.

The course curriculum includes software as well as hardware subjects. The infrastructure is also very good in comparison to many other colleges. Some of the courses are Data Structures and Algorithms I & II,Database Management Systems,Operating Systems,Computer Networking,Design & Analysis of Algorithms,Artificial Intelligence.

In AIT, many companies are coming forward to provide internships and gives students excellent projects to work on like Josh Softwares 12K month 2 months,TRDDC No stipend but a kind of research projects,Microsoft - 25k month - 2 months, Amazon No idea 2 months, Myntra 25K month 2 months,CodeNation 120K month - 2 months,Commvault 25K month 2 months,RedPanda Innovation Labs 20K month - 2 months.

Gradually each year placements are getting good for getting placed it is a good college. Here in this college it reaches more than 92% every year. Many companies come to college and some placements are grabbed by students on their efforts not through the campus I don't want to mention package figures but all these companies have 10L+ CTC) Codenation,Amazon,Microsoft IDC,Myntra,Commvault,Microsoft IT,Symantec,Adobe,LinkedIn.

There are lots of events held throughout the year. AAKRITI Festival has 3 different events where different branches competes for the trophy Cultural,Sports and Technical Aakriti. Amehtyst cultural fest,Solutions tech fest,Pace sports fest.

Fee structure is increasing year by year. This is all including tution fee,hostel,mess charges,laundry,wifi etc.

Some good scholarships are there AGIF - 40K for top 14 students of a class,DLF - 55K for top 2 students a batch,Merit cum mean scholarship 10K for those who have more than 60%4. Yearly Academic Scholarship 20K & 15K for 1st & 2nd Cummins Scholarship 1L this is based on some interviews and family background and our academic performance. Total 100 in the entire Pune university.

Best college to complete your engineering where we meet people from different states and we are exposed to lots of extracurricular activities. Robotics club has done a great job at national competition and got 7th position where even different IITs are left behind. Dance groups have participated at different competitions and have always been the winner of those and still doing great every moment. Sports You get a lot of exposure to different sports like basketball,football,cricket,tennis,squash,badminton.

Hostel facilites are very good. Wifi,laundry,daily cleanling of gallery and toilets and daily basis maintenance and all time electricity i meant most of the times. Mess food is much better than most of the colleges of india.

In AIT Alumni network is very strong and juniors with seniors have a very good relationships. Alumni always encourage us to do great and work hard. Some alumni are entrepreneurs and have stabilised their firms in this professional world.

Exams are like if you read you wont fail. Here in Pune university its difficult to score like CBSE boards i.e more than 90%. Exam times are peak times to get serious and people really gets serious and rest of the year people are like chilled out.

Faculty of college is not as good as compared to IITs. A few Ph.d's you will find. Some faculties are really good and some are just for like timepass and this type of faculty range you will find anywhere. A faculty can only rise interest of subject in you rest you have to do it.
