Army Institute of Technology Pune is a student centric college with focus on academic and all round development. The faculty is totally sincere and devoted. The discipline is high and the environment is conducive for learning. The fees is much lower than most colleges. It offers adequate on-campus placements with the best companies in the relevant industry. Lastly, it has a good alumni network.

The curriculum was intensely academic, but had adequate co-curricular activities, coding competitions and kept us busy. Discipline, both self and imposed, is strict. Hence, the level of learning is very high.

There is no internship. However, with effect from Third Year, during the vacations, desirous students attend workshops etc with reputed companies to gain experience. The companies make all the administrative arrangements and there is no financial burden on the students.

AIT provides excellent on-compus placements.All the good companies come, eg Google, Microsoft, Thoughtworks, TCS, Infosys, Delolite etc and offer the best of their base packages. The C2C packages very from Rs 3,50,000 to Rs 21,00,000 pa.The on-campus placement is above 95%.

A number of sports, co-curricular activities are organised intra-college and inter colleges at Pune. The students at the college are divided into four houses and competitions are conducted house-wise. Some competitions are individual based.

The tuition fee is approx Rs 1,20,000 pa. The hostel fee, including room and messing, is approx 50,000 pa. The fees is very reasonable and feasible.

No. I am unaware of any scholarship/loan facility offered by the College nor did I avail of any such facility. The fees is quite reasonable and I didnot come across any student who was seeking such a facility.

The on-campus life is very lively and of a high quality. All the facilities are available. Competitions are organised within and amongst the sister colleges at Pune.

The hostel is Non-AC, multi-storied and well managed. Boys and girls are housed in separate buildings. Warden and peons are available round the clock. The mobile network signals are good, It is mandatory for all students of First and Second Year, except local from Pune, to stay in the hostel. The rooms are provided on triple sharing in First Year, double sharing in Second Year and independent from Third Year. Proper built in cupboard and furniture is provided to each student. The food is excellent and at very reasonable cost of Rs 90 pd remitted quarterly. The money for the absence from the hostel during vacation period is refunded. In case a student is sick, he is provided medically advised food without extra charges.

AIT has a good alumni network. The alumini often contribute good amount for further development of their alma-mater. Also, good network helps career progression and boost as well as a real time update on the opportunity and vacancies available in the companies.

The pace of the academic curriculum is intense with a number of co-curricular and sports activities. However, the exams are reasonably spaced out. If a student is regular in his studies, he faces minimal pressure of the exams.

The faculty is totally devoted, sincere and willingly offer their time and effort for extra classes. AIT has a nice library, open 24x7. AIT is spread over a vast area and has adequate play grounds and facilities for indoor sports. It offers all round development. Medical facilities and a sick bay also exists for treatment of minor ailments.
