More research facilities should be provided. I also think the college should have a swimming pool of it's own and more squash courts.

I took JEE-mains. I scored 106 in jee-mains and 94% in boards. Being a ward of army personnel, an army college was the best option among other private institutions. Also AIT affiliation to Pune University was also one reason.

The course is broad and covers a lot. Research isn't really given that much of a attention I believe. The first year course is common to all which includes teaching of subjects from all the engineering courses like mechanical,electronics,civil etc. So as a computer student I am aware of the work being done in other branches too.

Our college at present doesn't provide any internships or so. But it arranges army based workshops and industry visits. This year amazon came for internship for sde. Otherwise microsoft,josh,thoughtworks,mobilya etc come for providing internships to students.

The placement & job opportunities are good. Almost 90% get placed in in-campus recruitment. Big companies like symantic organize their recruitment in pool. Average package of comp IT was 5.7 lpa this year. Overall its aound 4lpa. Companies like Symantic, Microsoft, Amdocs, Josh, Tata, Delloite, ZS, Accenture, Amazon, LinkedIN, Oracle, etc come for placements.

College organises it's own fest technical, cultural & sports in the month of FEB every year in which teams and participants come from various colleges in Pune. An online portal & app is created for registering and event information. The technical fest is called Solutions & Sports - PACE.

The college tuition fee is 90000 which includes university exam fee too. Hostel,messing and laundry charges are of around 55000. Compared to other colleges the fee is feasible for a private college. The college takes around 20000 security fees during the admission time too.They cut around 2k and refund the rest of it after passing out.

The college itself provide AGIF for army wards providing scholarship to 1 out of every 5 students. This scholarship is of 40000 for which stiudents fill a form and top students get selected based on criteria. Top 2 from each branch are also rewarded 20000 & 15000 for performance.Other scholarships students apply for include PM,LeelaPuna,Horizon etc.

In my batch 2013-2017 one, There are around 56 girls out of 300 students admitted during admission time. Ethnicity is maintained with code of conduct like what clothes to wear in mess or in playground. There is a squash, badminton,basketball, lawn tennis, tennis, football & cricket ground. There are clubs also like robotics, Maths, OSS etc too.

The hostels are catered by 3 caterers which serve in different hostels. There is a night canteen too which opens late night in Boys hostel only. Hostel rooms are singlets,doublets,triplets, & fourlets. A group of 7 rooms - A flank share a common washroom/Bathroom. Hostel charges are around 25000 per year and messing 28000 and laundary 2000. Wifi facilities are also provided in the hostels charging 2000 per yr. Any problem with food or washroom can be complained in a complaint register provided, and usually gets corrected in 2-3 days. Otherwise higher authorities can always be approached.

Many alumni who are successful entrepreneurs come to college for providing placements to students and internships too. Yearly alumni meet is also conducted for interaction with alumni.

There is atleast one lab session of 2 hours every day. Here we can bring our own laptops or use the lab PC's too. Kits like beaglebone, 8255 etc are provided too by the college & can be issued by student for their use too. In FE-SE exams happen in 3 phases. 2 onlines of 25 marks each & final theory of 50 marks. TE-BE exams happen in 2 phases. One IN-sem of 30 marks and final theory of 70 marks.

The faculty is good. Most of them try hard and have clear understanding of the subject they are teaching. Due to a recent change in the change in our course, i.e. 2012 pattern teachers even didn't knew what to teach as the curriculum wasn't even available on internet too but it turned out to be a learning experience for them as well as us too. Teachers are friendly and are punctual too.
