Actually everything is Good about the college, but the perseption of the public is poor.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is old fashioned and preety out-dated. The course structure of First year is extremely old. It is just an advanced level of what one studies in His/her 10+2 of his/her board. but the course of next 3 years is quite good. The on campus placements are very good and the course is quite helpful.
Placement Experience
Every year minimum of 500-800 students gets placed through the training and placement cell in our college. It is the sole decision of the students to decide whether he/she go for the internship offered or to continue their study. There is no force upon us, hence we can decide our selves. College Events
There are majorly 2 fests of our college. One is Techno-Management fest, namely Tecnoesis and other cultural fest, namely Incandesence. Tecnoesis is one of the biggest techno-managenent fest of north-east India. and recently a E-Summit event is started named As SRIJAN.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Actually the fee structure is Quite feasible, as it is a Government college. The fee structure depends on the income of the family of the student and the category pf the student.There is complete trasperency of the fee breakdown.The maximum fees for b.tech is approx 6.5 lac.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarships that can be availed as it is a government college. but only one scholarship can be one student.
Campus Life
N.S.S activities goes on every day in our college. Sports like volleyball, cricket, tikuando, kabaddi, throw ball, carroms, chess, ko, batminton, running race, football, ring, etc. Every sports are played by our respective teams in C-zone marches and recently our cricket team is the C-zone finalists this year
Alumni/Alumna
The alumini network is amazing. There are many aluminis who come and give regular speeches. The seniors are really heplful and you can ask them literally anything.
Admission
One have to give JEE main exam for admission in this college for B.Tech. My motive to join the college is for Placements, as this college have excellent placements. After giving JEE main, one have to apply for JOSAA counselling. Then on the basis of your percentile in the exam you are alloted to NIT's of India.
Faculty
If one rates the faculties then it would be 7/10. Some faulties are excellent and some are very poor. But every faulty is very reachable. They even provide their personal phone numbers and email Ids. We even have whatsapp groups of every subject. They sometimes give irrevelent assignments.
