Course Curriculum Overview
A research-driven curriculum is followed but the first basics are explored. Due to this course, some time becomes tougher. Industrial visit was scarce but some other departments did encourage. Lots of research material is available to be explored. Will suggest to involve yourself in some research with faculty.
Placement Experience
Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Infosys, Wipro, Google, startups, banks, etc. Sone has cg criteria and tests and interviews.
College Events
Holi and Diwali were there. An annual cultural festival like Thomson and technical festival such as cognizance was there which had huge participation from students of other colleges Indian and foreign. Bhavan day was also annually celebrated for the hostel.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible for the middle class. My program fee was 50000rs/send. Online as well as bank mode was available to pay the fees. No additional cost/fees or charges were there to be paid in order to secure admission in the course. Pure transparency is there in the fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
Not applicable to me. But it provided different scholarships and mcm. Many students benefitted from this scheme. 60000rs were returned back through mcm if your father's income was less than 4 lacs.
Campus Life
Students and their talent pool were immense. Campus life is great. We have good sports and fitness related infrastructure. Those who want to 3xplore their passion, each and every field some activity is their or clubs. There is literally so much to do it is a waste to let go of any minute unexplored.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. Rooms were single and spacious enough. Though it varied from hostel to hostel. It can be single as well as shared. They had an entertainment room, tv room, and a badminton Court. The mess was also in the hostel itself.
Alumni/Alumna
You have to be involved in some extracurricular. They form great bonds with you provided if you interact with them a lot. Develop some good personality and be active when they ask for some help. Maintain contacts afterward also.
Admission
By IIT JEE entrance exam. It is PCM combined which checks our logical as well as analytical reasoning. It is a very tough exam. My rank was just getting me a dual degree in electronics and communication engineering. I wasn't ready to go further down the college line. So I sufficed with Roorkee. Fees are required to be paid at the time of admission as well as verification of documents on the basis of which we are provided admission and hostel to be availed or not we have to mention. Faculty
40 around. 22 and 23 were average qualifications for btech. Lecturers were highly accomplished in their respective fields. But in the end, it is up to students to avail opportunities. They will only help you if you show promise. Each faculty has vast experience and knowledge to share.
