We are generally taught about engines and different types of rules and regulations related made by international Maritime organization (IMO) for transportation and safety of seafarers, yes we have industrial visit and frequently we visit ports nearby.

Our college placement is good most of the company first take written test and all the qualified students are further allowed for Viva. Fleet Management,msc, scorpion,NYK SHIPPING,ANGLI EASTERN etc are the company who visit our college for placement.yes every year students are placed from our college.mock tests are taken by our college.

We have annual technical fest annual cultural fest we don't have any management fest. Most of the college from Kolkata and different marine engineering college take part in it our cultural fest is known As tempest and our literary fest is known as litosphere.

Our program fee for whole course is 900000 our college accept net banking,neft,rtgs etc. Our course fee is feasible. we don't have any transparency breakdown in feet I have left on the basis of number of days you delay on fee submittion. All course book cost and all uniform cost is included in the course fee all hostel fees included in the course fee.

There is scholarship based on your semester rank you can take education loan from the bank present in the campus it usually takes 1-2 days to get loan there they are very supportive to college students.

We enjoy a lot in campus we have a massive workshop where we can learn anything we have there working engine, boiler etc, we play lots of sports we have a highly maintained playground, swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball courts etc. Our college is best in most of the sports we have our annual sports fest.we also organize annual literary fest and science fest. Actually it's a boy dominant college because girls not prefer to be a Marine engineers.we respect all religion here all are treated equally.

Yes it's sharing type hostel fee is included in the course fee they also provide clothings normally uniform we have bed checks frequently to make sure that room is not dirty and every thing is at it's proper place.

Our alumni network is very strong they often visit our college and they are present in each and every part of the world they are very supportive they even help us in placements.

It has a online entrance test name as IMUCET it generally conduct it's paper in month of July. I always wanted to do something adventurous so I joined this field of Marine engineering and since it's is the best college for Marine engineering so I joined it.

About 50-60 lectures are there in our college including workshop and theoretical subjects. most of them are marine engineer that is they belong to this field this is one of important characteria required for our college. all of them are very supportive they have good knowledge of the subjects they regularly organise doubt clearing classes it is for our benefits. they also give knowledge about this field and how we will survive in this field challenges we have to face on the regular basis.
