Mbbs is course is not just a course like others it is taking responsibility of saving a person's life and a single mistake can take a life so we should take it seriously and read it amd curriculum of MBBS is also vast so we need to concentrate more and have to study and main annual exams will be held once a year and in between three internal assessments will he there in which we should pass in all of them to get eligible for writing for final exam and labs will be held everyday for 2 hrs and we cannot chill out as i said earlier we need to focus keenly and have to read.

College offers tremendous job opportunities and the placement here is excellent. College also offers internships and calls the company for that too along with the stipend (not all). I got internship in Tata Motors Lucknow plant which was arranged by the college and also got the internship stipend of Rs 18000/month there. It was a six month internship. Other companies that came to offer internship are hero(5000/month), DeShaw(1.5L/month), Microsoft (50000/month), PadminiVNA(15000/month), Texas Instruments(45000/month), L&T and many more.

Coming to cultural part it is proud to say that our college makes a great fest called cobalt skies it is one of the biggest fest of south india they will make a preperation from past one month and fest will be held 5 days including cultural activities sports other extracurricular activities and after this also many functions will also be throughout the year like ranakhale also there will be a medica conference called penasaia which is online conference held through whole india it is the biggest online conference related to medical and also many functions will also be there throughout the year

Overall annual fee structure for the engineering candidates is very expensive. The fee structure is as follows- 1. Tution fees 2L-2.5L annually 2. Hostel fees 43K/semester 3. Development fees 50K/semester 4. Mess fees 16K/semester 5. Miscellaneous 10K/semester

Our college offers 3 variety of scholarships which include Alumini scholarship, Merit scholarship which is of two types- one is on the basis of your board performance and second on the basis of your college performance. I have availed merit scholarship on the basis of college performance which costs half the tution fees of the annual year. Conditions to get this is remain in top 10% of the students studying in your respective branch. The college does not offer any kind of loan facilities.

This college is a hub of extracurricular activities which are appreciably good in the sense of recognition you get a platform to express. College has good gender ratio. Since events happen all over the year so parties exists all the year. Large number of societies work here so every day one or the other conduct their workshops. No discrimination on the basis of gender, cast, religion or on any background. No politics seen inside the college.

College has large number of hostels which includes a wide variety of rooms from single seater with attached toilet to four seater rooms with common washrooms. All the hostels are differently constructed and hence everyone has its own uniqueness. The rooms size also varies depending upon what kind of hostel you select and what all facilities you require. Four seater non AC room costs around 50k/year, 2 seater non AC rooms costs 72k/year, 2 seater ac rooms costs 84k/year, single seater with attached toilet costs 1L/year. All the hostels are packed with decent amount of facilities. There is no need to worry about it.

The alumni network of college is very strong. Large number of companies visit for the campus placements every year and 80% of them have one or more aluminis as the panel members which internally gives a boost to all the students to get selected. Alumini are extremely helpful. I personally didn't came in touch with any one but met one at the time of interview who helped me a lot.

First of all I had filled the college admission form. After that Thapar merit list was announced based on the applicants and their JEE main ranks. According to the above list counselling was conducted and we were asked to prioritise our branch choice. Later on the basis of availablity respective branch was alloted. College also offers internal sliding option which means if you didn't got your desired branch then after closing of admissions a final counselling is conducted to get your branch upgraded which is totally subject to availability.

The faculty provided here is excellent especially in Mechanical engineering. Certain profeesor's are highly qualified and have a firm grip on their subject along with this they also have the ability to produce interest in the subject. Teaching skills of the profeesor's are also appreciable.
